Around 160 to lose here. I have PCOS, hypothyroid, depression, and anxiety, but am not really limited by those much other than struggling with energy levels at times and the weight being seemingly harder than normal to lose. I don't really follow a specific plan, just sticking pretty strictly to calories and trying for…

I've wanted to and kind of halfway tried since I was a teenager. I did lose a significant amount of weight in 2009, before getting pregnant with my son, but gained it all back plus quite a bit more within a few years of his birth. This time, it's been easier, because several things are working together to motivate me. 1. I…

I'm similar. 33, around 160 pounds overweight, out of shape, and busy. I have a 5-year old and a husband, am in school, and am waiting to hear back for sure on a 911 dispatcher job. We also don't have a lot of money to spend, but my husband just OK me to get a basic weight bench to use it home & I have found a ton of free…

Increased it. And the results (more confidence, energy, and stamina, and a little bit of physical changes already) seen to have increased my partners' sex drive as well.

A guarantee of a steady job.

My first day at my old gym, my workout started with a treadmill workout. Stepping off the treadmill at the end, I tripped over the end of it and went straight into my knee on the concrete floor. It hurt like a SOB and was so embarrassing.

Today I learned that a mouse can fit through a hole the size of a dime.

I don't, and my husband buys most of the groceries and brings home stuff like pizza, or asks for fattening things for dinner, which makes it doubly hard to plan. The most effective thing I've found to do to meet my goals without him getting offended or calling me high maintenance is to plan out my dinner ahead of time and…

You may also want to look at the way your macros balance out for your calories. I have a similar calorie goal (1400-1500 a day), and I've found some days I fall short of it and still feel full, but if I eat a lot of carbs early in the day, then I end up hitting my calorie limit too early and being hungry later. Also, if…

My biggest thing is honesty. I can work with a lot of stuff in a relationship, but I can't handle being lied to. A good sense of humor, or at least can appreciate my sometimes twisted/off-kilter sense of humor & personality. Has things in life he's passionate about and/or goals he's actively working towards reaching. Has a…

My ultimate goal is 160-165, but that's still a long way off

Most of mine is Danskin from Walmart. Check their website & stores for clearance. You can often get the dri-fit shirts for around $6, especially if you're not really picky on color or style. I got a bunch of 4x NWT yoga/workout pants for $10 a pop on ebay last year, too.

I have it, along with PCOS. I've been on levothyroxine for 5 1/2 years, and it hasn't seemed to have made much of a difference at all. My test numbers show up normal now, but symptoms are still there in regards to energy lvels, hair, weight barely budging, etc.

Unless the "real" gf is cool with it, it's dangerous ground. Personal experience here. I've been married for over 14 years. We've had a lot of issues, but stuck through for comfort (some issues were major, there was ongoing emotional/financial control/abuse, etc that made leaving less of an option even after it was obvious…

I've added most of you, and anyone reading this can feel free to add me. I'm 33, mom to a 5-year old. Currently looking for work (applying to a couple dispatcher jobs right now after ending a stint at a call center right before Christmas), and looking forward to returning to college in fall. I'm a volunteer firefighter and…

Because my weight has started to effect my health in smaller ways (sore back, fatigue, worsened PCOS symptoms) and I'm afraid of it causing more severe problems. Related to that, I want my energy and endurance back - to be able to go hike or run around and play with my son without having to stop or slow down to catch my…

I'll send you a request. I have around 150 to lose.

You could use spaghetti squash or make "noodles" with strips of zucchini. I don't know the calories in it offhand, but I know my family has no problem with the squash instead of pasta and they are big fans of spaghetti.

Around a year and a half sounds right. You could maybe do it faster, but that pace will make it easier to have sustainable weight loss that you can keep off and will give you some wiggle room if you hit a plateau or two. Also, if you have fertility problems are something like PCOS or thyroid that could be weight related,…

Feel free to add me, too, and I added a few of y'all from the thread. I'm in my first semester of college now, after being a stay-at-home mom for the past 3 1/2 years. I remember how lonely it could get and hard hard it was sometimes to find time and money for exercise and healthy food choices with one income and a little…

I would go to a specialty running store and see what the recommend. Shoes fit differently depending on your feet and the way you walk, so certain ones are better for certain people and stores like this will watch you walk or run and make recommendations based on that. As far as my personal preference, I love the Brooks…
