Perhaps you need a session or two with an exercise physiologist given the issue with your leg. They will assess your capability and determine what exercise is best for your circumstances

I agree at 42kgs you would have been underweight. I think you need to readjust your goals and perhaps seek some help with a therapist.

Sometimes we are not the best judge of the way our bodies look, particularly if we are harsh critics of ourselves. Why not post a picture of stomach, make sure you are maintaining good posture, I think you will find its not as thick as you think it is

I don't think deliberately trying to motivate people works well unless they have asked you to help keep them motivated or have been asking questions and/or for advice. I think motivating/encouraging others needs to be done naturally eg they seeing your results (eg being happier, losing weight, building lean body mass) of…

Plan/log your daily menu ahead of time, know what you will be eating, take snacks when out, if eating out look for online menus then you can estimate calories for your preferred meal...allow for some flexibility if needed.

Of course you are allowed to post about fat loss, it is myfitnesspal after all. The point of my post is that your question is similar to some of your other posts and I wonder if you are not liking the responses you have received so far? You've obviously done a great job of losing excess fat so far...to get rid of the last…

I wasn't aware that water had a taste but some alternatives are herbal and/or decaf teas, sparkling water with no added sugar fruit flavours. You could also just add some flavours to water eg a bit of lemon/ lime juice or a small amount of no added sugar cordial.

I have used the infrared saunas not for weight loss though, I am pretty sure the calorie count is farfetched. Use it if you like it, but don't rely on it for calorie use or weight loss.

None of your other threads about fat loss have given you the answer yet? Your posts are fairly similar and I am not sure you will get different responses here. You've done well to lose the weight you have, congratulations. Excess skin can take up to two to three years to retract, if in fact it does retract. For some people…

Are you breastfeeding? If so, 1500cals per day isn't likely to be sufficient for you, breastfeeders typically need more calories.

So you haven't lost any weight at all? How long have you been attempting to lose weight? Are you measuring or weighing your food?

Look for alternatives to help with emotions. Emotional eating is a very temporary salve and leads to further emotions as guilt, self disgust, disappointment etc set in. When feeling stressed for instance have a soak in bath, go for a walk or do some meditation. When sad talk it out with a close friend or family member.…

So did your doctor do blood tests? Thyroid? Anything else? I would have thought blood tests would be in order for someone who had rapid unexplained weight loss.

I think the OP is looking for the quick fix. Posts about losing 40lb in two months, doing a plant based diet for weight loss, now keto, what next? You have been given plenty of good advice in this and your other posts...perhaps its time to sit back and actually read it, take it in, give one particularly way of eating/diet…

You do not need to be doing two hours exercise per day, this is not sustainable for most people (athletes and the like excluded). Look to your diet, make sure you are weighing/measuring everything that passes your lips, plan your daily menu in advance (allow for some flexibility), do some exercise but do not overdo…

Certainly is possible. But is it healthy to do so? Depends on your starting weight I would think. If you are significantly overweight probably could get close. If not, you'd be significantly undereating thereby putting your health at risk.

While BMI isn't an abolute measure of body health it is a good indicator for most, at that height and weight your BMI is 25.5, which is pretty darn close to a healthy weight range for your height. A better indicator for you is possibly a dexa scan to see where your body fat percantage is at. You may want to consider taking…

How tall are you and what is your goal weight? Closer you get to goal weight, weight loss will be lower and slower. Weight goes up and down on a daily basis but as long as the longer term trend is going down its all good. How much alcohol did you drink? If just one or two, I would say not likely contributing to the weight…

Hello and welcome. Sorry that you went through that, sounds like you have already lost a good amount of dead weight. If you haven't already may be worthwhile considering some counselling for the abuse you went through.

I don't keep favourites treats/snacks in the house, I don't do moderation well at all. If I fancy something, I take it to work, I have some of it and share around.

Diet with some exercise thrown in, but if all too much to start with focus on diet, do exercise in small blocks of time and increase as time progresses.

I haven't suffered with gout but have a friend who swears by cherry juice.

Find new things to do when emotions get the better of you which then may trigger emotional eating. Lonely or bored go visit a friend or family member, volunter with a community organisation Angry go a boxing class or another high energy exercise class Stressed go for a walk, long soak in the bath, etc etc

As already said, you don't. You could spend time with her doing incidental activity though, going for walks (doesn't have to exercise walks), maybe playing golf or social activities that involve incidental movement.

I had a cheat meal once saw me gain about 15kilos, yes that's right, 15kilos. Cheat meal turned into cheat day turned into a cheat week turned into a cheat month, before I knew it a year was up and I had gained 15kilos. I am surprised I didn't gain more. I know better now what works for me and what doesn't, and I just…

I don't know if it's covered health insurance in some states/countries but in Australia it isn't and I believe it costs about $400AUD per month.
