Brave woman to face the shoppers down. I tried once and will not ever again. There is nothing I want that much. But glad your trip was successful. Met my goals this week so far.

1. 30 minutes at Curves 2. 10 glasses of water 3. Plans for healthy eating tomorrow I got out my knitting tonight and am knitting a new scarf while listening to a book on my kindle. What a peaceful evening.

1. Exercise 30 minutes a day 2. Drink 8 -10 glasses of water a day 3. Have a healthy thanksgiving meal. Enjoy your trip! Hope you don't get caught in the freezing rain snow mix on Wed-Thursday they are predicting.

Those NSVs are the best aren't they? Yay! Braved the slippery roads to go to Curves this morning. Now I am making some meals for the freezer so I have some healthy quick meals for work days. Better get back to it!

Awesome on resisting the lure of the dreaded pop. Didn't do so well myself but every day is a restart opportunity, right? Goals: 1. Managing my time better but still could be better. 2. A+ on the water 3. One more item on the board but lots of space left to fill. It is a nice visual for what's behind the weight...missing…

While pop isn't something I drink much of, I certainly have those things that I just can't resist sometimes. Hope you got through Tuesday without one! My goals this week: 1. Time management: if I don't manage my time well, I don't eat well nor do I get my exercise in for the day. 2. Drink water consistently throughout the…

Stayed within calories, exercised, drank water and did all that good for you stuff. But getting a cold so feel just worn out. HLaR79, how are you doing tracking your steps?

Not having a great week...eating a lot of bread and baked goods to cope with stress....not happy with myself at all.

Those two days are important! Met my goals this week so Yay me! Off to rake leaves.....

My goals this week are 1. Curves 3 times 2. Take 15 minute walk during lunch every day 3. Stay within calorie amount 4. Set monthly goals Today is such a gorgeous fall day! It has been as difficult for me to focus as it has for my students.

So glad you shared. You are doing something awesome for yourself and it should be acknowledged. Keep at it!

Ok week. Seeing Dr today so I met my goal. Actually I exceeded it as I replaced my Jawbone Up even though I was going to wait to see if the price of the Jawbone 3 drops on Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It was only $30 so I got it. I can then wait til the Jawbone 3 drops and I can benefit from the tracking and goal setting…

Halloween treats are truly evil...they are everywhere and they are attached to so many memories which is difficult for an emotional eater like me. So, I just try to stay away from the stores that have the huge displays of candy and I don't hand out candy on Halloween. It's pencils, apples and small fun things for the few…

Another successful day despite intense cravings for bread or just about anything made with flour. Headaches and general anxiety worse too...(sigh).

I find I prefer to look online too...and I love to read coo complex kbooks. I find a lot on this site and fitness magazine. Learning to substitute things, how to use herbs and other things to boost flavor can be fun too as you experiment with favorite recipes to make them healthier. Cooking Light magazine is good if you…

It's not fun at all is it? Hope you start to feel better soon. Accomplished everything on today's to do list. :)

Mini goal not a problem as I drink 10-12 glasses a day routinely. My goals this week: 1. Follow the Hunger Fix detox meal plan to eliminate gluten from diet. I will do this by planning ahead and packing meals the night before. 2. Curves Monday, Wednesday and Thursday after work. 3. 20 minutes a day meditating.

Welcome to the thread! Oh my, as a teacher, I know how hard it is to say goodbye to our students. And after three tough days no less. Anyone can start the week's thread (and join in); usually it is started on Monday and goes thru to the next Sunday. I made it through the week with gluten just once a day. It was tough as I…

Nice job kaihunter! HLaR79, sounds busy...do you celebrate with a huge meal like we do here in the U.S.? While I know Canada has it's own Thanksgiving, I will admit I don't know much about it. Typical American I guess. I am already thinking about healthy recipes for ours which is more than a month away. My goal this week…

The best advice I have ever gotten was 1) I don't have to share my story with everyone which cut down on a lot of comments that were hurtful and 2) when offered something I didn't want or was avoiding, to say I would have it later which was less challenging to the person offering/tempting me with the unwanted food. Even if…

You are looking awesome! And happy! I followed the same plan a few years ago and had the same success. This reminded me that I can do it. I was inspired by reading The Hunger Fix, which is all about how the brain is behind many peoples struggles with weight. What led you to choose this plan?

Me too Kaihunter...work has been consuming all of my energy. But I have been working out more and eating has been okay. I have my goals for the next week planned so hope someone starts the next thread!

How awesome is that!!!

Http://weight loss.about.com/cd/CookingTips/ss/How-to-Prep-Healthy-Meals-for-the-Week.htm Sorry hope this works. So far I have had a good week. I prepped my meals on Monday and it has helped me stick to gluten free foods. I am trying to spend time outdoors for my exercise minutes. Fall is my favorite time of the year!…

@violet456 Happy Birthday! Skittle is back! I'm stealing your goal too. I have not been walking enough nor getting to Curves so I am concentrating on just increasing my physical activity. My goal is either 30 minute walk or Curves daily. Starting tomorrow.

Haven't met any of mine yet this week. I have been staying late at work and not following my planner well. But I'll be dog sitting for my sister so between her 2 and mine, I need to get home on time to get their separate walks in. But I am getting my 10,000 steps every day! As for keeping active, I agree with headhunter,…
