Stay strong sweetie, everything gets better with time. :flowerforyou:

Loose skin is totally normal when losing weight. Stay hydrated, do strength training to tighten up your skin, and give it time. I don't know if it will look perfect anytime soon, but it will get better.

The question is, when don't I eat peanut butter. :blushing:
-
Awesome! :drinker: At the end of the day, people see you, not a number on a scale.

Ummm... Happy birthday! Don't worry, they'll realize what they did eventually and come around. Why won't you call them and be like, "I had a good day yesterday, how bout you?" They'll hopefully realize they missed something. My family is the same way, loving but forgetful.

Low-carb diets are just for people that can't digest carbs as well. It sounds like your doing fine, but you should up your intensity of your workouts and weigh your foods to make sure your not overestimating. Good luck!
-
Congrats!:drinker: You can really see a huge difference.

I think going for every other step would create more of a toning exercise, while running on every step would be more cardio.

"Don't reward yourself with food: you're not a dog." Daniel Powter: "Bad Day" Cause you had a bad day You're taking one down You sing a sad song just to turn it around You say you don't know You tell me don't lie You work at a smile and you go for a ride You had a bad day The camera don't lie You're coming back down and…

Yeah, that is totally okay. I use the same website (I love fitness blender!) and if you want, they have 20 minute videos that burn over 200 calories, tone up your body, and makes you feel good afterwards. I recommend using the HIIT videos, because those give you the most burn. I'm also a high school student, and finding…

Fatty! I'll offend you back if you wish.

Lol, or when people put in weird serving sizes (one slice, or a teaspoon for Greek yogurt)
-
I only worry about the servings being correct if the thing I'm eating is a calorie dense food item (peanut butter) or if they are really unhealthy (sweets) usually I'll take the servings and don't worry about the calorie details.

Same here. I wake up, use the bathroom, wash my face, then get on the scale if I'm weighing myself that day. The only difference is, I keep my clothes on... :noway:

Thanks! That helped!

How tall are you? We have the same goals. I'm 5'4" and I weight 180 too. Message me, I'll happily exchange motivation with you!
-
Yeah, I've heard it takes about six weeks to get used yo exercise and actually want or enjoy it. I can't wait to pass that mark so I don't dread my workouts anymore and start seeing an actual difference.

I don't know about the armband, although I've wanted one for some time now. I know MFP over estimates some of the calories burned, but I've heard the bands are unreliable too. If you go under the exercise tab, go to "my exercises," and there should be a green "create exercise" button. You can add your own exercises.

I feel bad for the big guy! It must have been tramatizing to be on that long ride, and people took pictures of him. Maybe this will be a wake up call to lose weight! He should have brought 2 or 3 seats for himself, although I understand how expensive it could be... On the other hand, I feel bad for the guy seated next to…

It's probably your increase in fiber, since you're eating more veggies. Give it a few weeks, it totally normal for your body to have this trouble digesting all that fiber, it will get better though!
-
Just take it step by step. Do easy exercises now, and build it up. Slowly decrease your cLorie intake. I know you want to be on the right track by tomorrow, but take it easy and know you're not alone. Best wishes, and good luck!

Awww, I'm so sorry this happened! If your still losing weight, you'll definitely fit into that dress! Don't let her discourage you, she was probaly in a bad mood, or just joking around and not realizing she was hurting you. Don't worry, and have a great wedding!

Definitly! I've always heard that overweight people are less likely to get hired when compared to skinny people. They are also looked at as lazy, weak, dumb, unclean, ect. We just need to overcome this obstacle and realize the person inside before and after weight loss is the same. People gain weight for all different…

Weight 187.4 lbs. I kinda gained weight this week. I hope this is just some random bloat thing happening right now.i won't give up though, and hopefully next week will be a lot lower!

My day usually unwinds at night, so around 8 or 9 pm. I try to keep it constant so exercising eventually becomes a habit that comes naturally.
-
I know you can do it and your motivation to loose weight totally inspired me! If you can afford it, get a session or two with a personal trainer and have them teach you low impact exercises that you can do. You can also try asking a trainer for a quick tip or two if you ever find one in a gym for free. Have you tried…

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I guess going over for too much sugar isn't bad, since it is because of fruit. Unless something happens, I'll probaly continue going over.

Hi everyone! My name is Dua'a and I'm 17 yrs old. I weight 180 lbs and plan to go down to about 130, depending on how my body reacts to that weight. I've been overweight my whole life, and i just want to get my health on track before college. I've been trying for a while now, so support is really helpful right now. Thanks…

Since i use workout videos, i just go ahead and put everything under the cardio workout section, even if it is strength straining. On the top blue bar, click on "exercise," and go to "my exercises." There should be a green "creat exercise" button, and you can put it in as cardio. Just put in the name, the amount of time…
