I am doing wk4 d3 tonight and I have also looked forward and had a total freak out about that run!!
-
I totally agree with this!

Sorry to go off topic here but oh my god that is insane!!! I think you have had good advice from some previous posters on your original question anyway! :)
-
I think the general consensus without confusing you is: * open your diary up if you want accurate advice towards what you have been eating etc * also give some background as to what you have been doing before this week * you may have lost fat, but you may also have gained muscle therefore you may have shrunk but still…

Hi everyone! I am currently doing c25k and have just found your group! I have just finished week4 day2 last night so have my last week 4 run to do in the next couple of days. One thing I feel for me personally is that week 4 is a lot harder than week 3 and I think that one of the best ways to get through it is to really…

It is true that exercise can improve people's mental health because of the endorphins etc that are released, there will be heaps of info online about this, I can't believe your doctor didn't recommend this to you at some point. I am glad that you and your friend are both feeling so good, keep it up! :)

I bet it will feel amazing if you have to get that dress altered twice so don't worry, it could turn out to be such a great NSV moment for you!! :)
-
You are such a beautiful mum!

A guideline I use for myself is.. The number of calories I need to "maintain" weight. If I have gone over that then I feel like poop, however if I haven't then happy days. You can have a good day tomorrow, don't kill yourself over it, but if you feel like you have to exercise then just get going and go for it!! If this is…

You could try some fun classes like Zumba or boxercise. I don't know what your gym is like but we have classes going all the time, spinning, aerobic type stuff, martial arts, there's racquet sports, indoor and outdoor pool. You just need to find something else you like! :)
-
I don't know if this is possible for you to do but you could try and set off early to pick your daughters up from school.... plan another route which makes your walk to school much longer say just by 10 minutes to start with and then you will be burning some extra calories this way and then you could up it a bit more until…

Wow!! Hun that is a HUGE difference!! You are looking so much better and I bet you must feel so much better too! In your mind and body!! Keep up your amazing work, your clothes in your after pic look like they're going to be falling off you soon!! I hope you are proud of yourself because you should be!
-
Wow, there is such a huge difference from such a short space of time, it is truly amazing how somebody can change so much so quickly, congratulations and keep up the fantastic work, it is really paying off!! :)

I don't get it? :S

Babe whatever you do, do not buy a tankini!! At our sizes they rise up as you swim and you end up with your tummy hanging out which is NOT good. This has happened to me with both tankinis I have bought and I just couldn't swim properly in the end while I was wearing them, which defeats the point of going and also it was…

Agree with most of the above... and when I looked at myself from the side the fact that my tummy came out a lot further than my boobs!!

My mum bought me one and I took it back thinking that it would be useless since I didn't have nike+ shoes.... to my horror.... I then put my running shoes on a couple of days later and found they were actually nike+ compatible and inside the sole is a little hole for the transmittery thing to go! I have been wondering…

Hi there, Started as a 24 myself too and am now down to an 18 so I totally feel your NSV with you, it is an amazing feeling, I can't wait to get smaller and smaller!! :) Soon you will be chucking out those size 20 jeans and wearing another smaller size!!

*LIKE* :) I will use this in the future! :)

For me, I was eating so unhealthily and when I first decided I wanted to make a change I went for slim fast, it was the best thing I ever did, because it was so like, this is the portion, this is the shake, I couldn't lie to myself and eat more etc it is usually on offer at one supermarket or another and if you compare it…

I eat/drink them all the time, I am not following the plan but I am calorie counting and exercising. Some days I have 2 with snavks and a meal, some days I have 1 and sometimes none. They keep me full fine and yeah there are other options for a 200cal meal but they are convenient sometimes if you lead a busy lifestyle and…

If I ever eat something out and I am not sure what was in it, I usually go for some kind of equivalent on myfitnesspal. Once we had a meal out and had an onion and greuyere tart so I added an asda one. If you had curry I would search for curry and add one of those, obviously you are not going to get the calories 100% right…

So that you can keep running c25k with me!! :) I look at you doing it and it makes me want to get off my bum and do it too! I've eaten some bad food the last few days. We can't be perfect everyday! We just have to take stock and start again and you can do it because you are a strong woman! x
-
Congratulations, this happened to me a couple of weeks ago and was the best feeling ever!!! :)
-
It is good, it hurts!! lol If I log it as what I do, it gives me 159 calories, if I log it as circuit training, it gives me 299!! This is why I am worried because I don't want to log it as more and eat more and then not lose the weight. eek! :s
-
I don't think it would burn as much as actually being out there and running but I don't see why you couldn't do marching for walking and running on the spot but if I were you I would get out there and go for it, I was 200lbs+ when I first started and I think it'd be much more satisfying for you!! If you just want to do it…
-
Yeah you don't look as round, you look lovely and hair looks really nice too. :)
-
lol They probably wouldn't want their names advertised or else they could get swamped!! :)

Slim fast are fortified so make sure you are getting enough vitamins if you swap. I'm not a nutritionist so I can't really advise you but I would say just make sure you get enough vitamins, if you become iron deficient or b then you can end up feeling really tired etc.

I suppose it depends on what kind of icecream you are eating, if you eat something which is quite luxurious like ben and jerrys or hagen daaz then it's going to be high calorie so try and add something equivalent. :)
