Time? HAHA I barely have time to think most days....lol I have an hour commute to work, 9 hours at work, commute home. I run my own photography studio as a side business, meet with clients in the evenings/weekends and have 2 kids. Somehow I still find 30 minutes to fit in a cardio session (Insanity Max30 right now). I do…

I would say that you can probably go with the Zaxby ones and be fairly close (or at least closer than what they have listed). Zaxby's are about 6 inches long and 2 inches wide (just going off of what I can remember). They would have to be awfully tiny to only get 13g of protein in 5 chicken strips.
-
Unlikely...the PC version says 1 serving size is 5 stirps
-
Doesn't sound right either. I looked at Zaxby's site because theirs looks close to Sheetz and they have a 5 piece chicken fingers for 430 calories. A lot will depend upon breading used but they should be close. How big are these chicken fingers from Sheetz? They are only listing 13g protein and Zaxby's has 43g...definitely…

@jemhh that blog post is set to private

I would give it a little more time since you are confident in your intake numbers. I lost a couple of pounds pretty quick when I started and then things seemed to stall for a couple of weeks. Those couple of weeks have been the showed the lowest loss that I have had in 4 months. It might help you mentally if you used a…

Bread, I used to bake my own and our family would eat a loaf in a matter of 1-2 days. I haven't baked any since January, except yeast rolls. I just can't fit a lot of bread into my calorie goals. I do eat a lot of sandwiches but I make them with the light fluffy wheat breads from the grocery and not the dense breads that I…

Thanks! @htg20 good job on the 20 pounds, that's a great accomplishment!

Is your kitchen scale digital and accurate? I used to have a manual scale and I thought that it was good enough but it really was horrible. Do you eat back exercise calories? If so, what are you using to measure the calorie burn? Just trying to find things that could be causing your net calories to be too high.

Since you are in a competition, I don't think that I could offer much advice that would help you win. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, I suggest going slow and steady and relearning proper eating habits. If you need cheat meals then your calorie restrictions are too great and you need to increase your calories.…

I don't because I don't want to get into the habit of overeating one day and undereating the next just to make up for it. If I go over or under the day before, I let it go and move on the next day.

I think you are in the wrong thread...

6 weeks later and another 8 pounds less :) Down 25 pounds since Jan 2! 13 left to 170 and yes I moved my goal even lower

There are a few things that can be going on. * The medication may be having an effect but only your doctor could tell you for sure. * Do you have a digital food scale and weigh all of the food that you eat? * Are you confirming the entries in the database with the packages that you have (some entries are wrong in the…

For most people, when you change your exercise routine you tend to stall your weight loss due to water retention. Just FYI...
-
Most weight gains on the scale, if you are in a calorie deficit is going to be fluid gains. Water is very dense. a 16.9 ounce water bottle weighs just over 1 pound. A lot of factors go into retaining fluids and can range from a change in routine, new exercises, lifting heavy weights, drinking less the day before, fibrous…

Most gains will be fluid if you are in a calorie deficit. I just remember that when I weigh in and I've gained weight.

If you don't set your weight loss settings too high, you shouldn't feel like you need a cheat day/meal. If you set it to 2lb/wk and are starving, then you need to reduce the goal and increase your calories. You shouldn't feel deprived or you're going to binge or give up. Personally, I don't have cheat meals. I do allow…

Her colon...duh...lol ;D

Yes that would be best. To give you an idea here's my info. I'm 36 y/o and 5ft 11in 182lb. My daily TDEE (total daily energy expenditure) is 2800 calories. I eat at 2000 calories for a 1.5lb/wk loss.

You really need to eat at your calorie goal. You will burn out eating at 1400 calories a day. I tried it at 1500/day and I had to increase it due to fatigue and exhaustion.
-
Calories are my priority. I get as close to my macro goals as I can without going over calories.

I started a C25k program this spring. After 2 weeks, I was running 5k's with no problem until knee pain in both knees became too bothersome to continue. If your knees continue to bother you, consider walking on a steep incline (if you have a treadmill). You can burn more calories and it has a far less impact on your…

If I use a condiment, it's usually yellow mustard. It's low enough calories that I don't count it. 5-10 calories isn't enough for me to weigh. If it's barbeque or salad dressing, I'll weigh it. It's easy to overdo those and add a ton of calories without realizing it.
