My husband and I use the McCormick Grill Mates marinade packets--and any other brand of marinade that sounds tasty, really--but we do tend to bake the chicken after. The zesty herb flavor is probably my favorite! You can also throw a whole breast in the pan and shred it with 2 forks while it's cooking to make pulled…

I bought my sports bra from Lane Bryant. I believe it's the Cacique brand. It'll cost around $40, but Lane Bryant always has sales going on. I recommend signing up for their e-mail or text clubs. ^_^.

I look up the restaurant's menu on their website and see if they have a listing of nutritional information there prior to eating out. This makes it easy to pick out what I want before-hand--or at least narrow down some choices.

I have a 28 oz. Blender Bottle from GNC. On a good day, I drink 3 full bottles of water from it. I also use Mio and other flavor additions like True Lemon and True Lime packets from Walmart.

I believe you're referring to the Percent Daily Values. Those are the numbers linked with the recommended / average 2,000 calorie diet.

^^^ And thanks, OP, for this wonderful, motivating post. ^_^.

High protein, fiber, and slower eating works for me. For some reason, fruit leaves me hungry, so I like to get my calories from heartier foods. I also try my best to accurately log all my food to the letter. I'm quite manic about it, actually. Haha. Also, just try experimenting with a lower caloric deficit so you can eat…

The slimmest I'd ever been in my life was in 2011 when my husband was in training for the Army. I'd ridden my bike for an hour each day to get to and from work--and just to get around town--since I didn't have a car, so I stayed in decent shape. When we moved to his duty station, I was out of work for over a year. The…

I lost a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts since last week. YEAH!!!

I love this post!

Also, anyone should be able to eat 2,500 calories per day and still lose weight. Just burn off the excess through exercise. It's about net calories at the end of the day for me, and obeying my set calorie deficit goal.

Just wanted to say... Love the gif, Krazy Daizy. Haha!

In the past, I had a huge issue with sugar. I grew up using it to flavor practically everything. I ate it in my rice, oatmeal, grits, pasta, sandwiches (peanutbutter and syrup (YUM!!)), you name it. I even got to the point where I was putting sugar in my Gatorade. Needless to say, I required more sugar just to even taste…

I agree with what everyone's saying. I just recently felt that I was ready to tackle my weight, size, and health, as well. My roomate lit the spark when he decided it was time for him to take action. From there, I felt like I could do it, too. Even when we're not working out together, I don't feel alone. I know he's in my…

I completely agree. Through all my phases of growing up, my mother would constantly pick on my size--even though I had no control over what was for dinner or what was in the fridge. That, along with other teasing from family, "friends", and schoolmates, led me down a path of self-hate. In middle school, I would do 300…
