How is it dripping in grease? Most restaurant burgers are grilled.... To op, peanut butter and an apple is good, greek yogurt and a bit of fruit, cottage cheese.

Are you sure it was directed at you? I really doubt anyone actually gives people dirty looks for no reason. Like others said, it could have neem anything else. Heck, maybe she just had a really bad conversation with someone and you just saw the end result.

This happened about 5 years ago when my trainer was making me to sprints up and down the stairs. I must've not tied my shoe good enough because next thing I know, my shoe goes flying across the gym and almost hits some poor soul (who might I add was completely gorgeous)in the head. Yeah I was mortified....

1500 isn't that bad for half a cake lol. Best you can do is not dwell on it since it's done, eat decently the next few days and maybe get in a little bit of extra exercise.

Don't lift weights, it'll make you bulky. Coming from a female trainer, among a few other people.....yeah I won't be using you as a trainer :indifferent: Oatmeal makes you bulky. "Oh you're just gaining muscle"....using an elliptical....with a calorie deficit....:huh:

I don't like how strangers will treat you differently. Clothes shopping And not so much now, but when I was heavier, I hated being the slow one. That walking up a hill was difficult.

Are you tall? It might not necessarily be your weight that they're referring to. I mean, I'm 6 feet, and even when I was thin, I'd get similar comments because I was so tall. Regardless, I don't think they mean any harm, and if their comments do bother you, you can kindly tell them. Awesome job on the loss btw :).

This. Once in a while, even now, my breakfast can be 1200-1400 calories, so I'm not sure how you find that difficult to do. Food should not be the enemy.

I've noticed many of those already as well....better skin, nails and hair, more energy, less back (and foot) pain, more energy, etc. it's nice :)

Because junk food is highly caloric. They're getting enough calories, just not enough nutrients. It's very possible to be malnourished on a caloric surplus. It's two different things.

During a workout, I tell myself it's only 30 seconds (or 1 minute or 5 minutes, or however much longer) and that usually motivates me to get through it. How's your iron? Are you diabetic/prediabetic? Low iron, low hemoglobin and high blood sugars can all cause extreme fatigue. Best to get it checked out if you're constantly feeling so tired.

For the record, too much protein can kick you out of keto as well. It's recommended protein makes up 20-25% of your diet as half of the protein you eat is converted into carbs. Most likely though, you don't have a noticeable caloric deficit and that's why you're not losing

The only thing that bothers me is the mother saying fat women have to dress differently than fat men, and I wish dear Abby had a response to that. Otherwise, there's nothing in there that's offensive to me.

Insulin can lower your blood sugar in a matter of 20 minutes from extremely high to extremely low....I'm assuming oral medications have a similar result. As well, some type 2 diabetics can control their blood sugars through diet and exercise alone, so that is very possible.

They actually don't. The fibre actually slows down your insulin injection or medication, so if you're diabetic, you have to time it right. I'm diabetic as well.
