What I would suggest, which is what is working for me (of course we are all different) - figure out your TDEE at a stationary pace, then eat back your exercise calories... or drinking in protein shakes... anyway, you would possibly be safer doing that... That is my method of choice...

Perhaps I needed to be there... if it is that cold, then perhaps it was simple concern of it being so cold. Instead of venting, I would talk directly to him (I mean talk) it shouldn't be a defense/offense kinda situation - express how you really feel and perhaps tell him reasons why you are committed to doing this. In all…

Perhaps your first step should be to start logging your food, make sure you are indeed eating enough and hitting your macros - Also, depending on your workout, your weight could be more lean muscle based than # itself.

I am more surprised at how quickly the sodium adds up... Also I will suggest everyone when logging something for the very first time on their diary check the nutrition facts before choosing - sorta annoying when I find the right serving with all the wrong information as calories, sodium, carbs, simply not all the correct…

If they have group classes, those are great to meet people who have similar goals as yours.

My experience with this is when I have failed at drinking water or snacking between meals, I will eat anything and everything in front of me. Though it doesn't work for everyone (and of course you have to experiment as to what works for you), I average 5 to 6 meals a day and good amount of water consumption. If I don't do…

There are plenty of reasons, what type of workouts are you doing? Do you hit your macros at the end of the day and your sodium intake is in check? How about water?

pretty amazing and inspirational - I love how you took your loss and made it in to something so much more positive than simply grief and victimizing yourself even more than you had already had during your younger years. It was when my mom passed away that I too decided I needed to make a change in my life - wasn't as…
