If the option is 1.0 serving of the banana = 100g, then change the 1.0 to 0.93 which will give you your 93g before you submit it to your diary. Hope that helps.

Got told by a guy in the gym that the workouts I was doing were obviously working as the diamond shape on my calves was awesome, your traps have good definition and your stomach is flat now. Well chuffed with that. Same day, someone also called me a beast when attacking the weights, not sure if that's good or not but made…

Realising that due to all the weightloss and exercise I am now that much fitter when participating in 2 on 1 sparring at my local karate class the 2 guys I was sparring with commented on how was I still going strong when they were both knackered!!!

Can you do any other exercise other than the walking/running? I have been in an office environment for 4 years before that I was an aircraft engineer working on Aircraft and just going to the tool stores to the top floor of the Aircraft I was on was 1000 steps, so I easily made over 10000 each working day without fail. I…

Gotta say after reading through this entire thread, you make a lot of sense and I couldn't agree with you more. Well said man.

My current 1RM's are (note: this is with Dumbells as my gym currently does not have barbells): Bench: 200Ibs OHP: 147lbs Squat: 425lbs. Trying for more each week though.

One I have on a lot of T-shirts is my favourite (mainly relates to martial arts though I suppose): The more you sweat in training, the less you bleed in battle.
-
Also looking for the same thing and consider myself relatively active on here and with my exercise routine (6 days in the gym, with 2x body combat sessions per week and 1 body pump session and a couple of sessions of martial arts thrown in for good measure).

In a strange way this is why I suppose I am lucky as I am gaining a good amount of muscle whilst losing weight, but as stated here this is mainly down to B & C for me. I used to weight train alot when I was still in the military and due to muscle memory I have gained a lot of what I orignally lost whilst actually losing a…

I am an emotional eater too and due to a messy break-up followed by court action in order to see my daughter which my ex was preventing I stacked on over 35kg so I know and understand how you got where you are now. The good news is, since starting MFP I have lost approximately 8kg, taking my total weightloss up to 26kg, so…

Getting a compliment from a stranger at the gym saying my transformation was nothing short of impressive. But most importantly to me, getting off of insulin for my diabetes and dropping my metformin by 1000mg a day makes all the hard work well worth it.

Going out and buying new jeans, not paying attention and buying the next size down to find out that I had to take them back and exchange them for an even smaller waist size (hate trying on clothes in shops) as they were too big. This made me decide to check out my measurements and discovered I have lost 8inches on my…

I would have to dig out my swords, get out there and start swingng, more than likely I will get bitten at some point, but I will go out fighting and then come back biting :)

I would be screwed if I didn't like water as I don't like tea, coffee, hot chocolate and due to being diabetic I keep fruit juice to a minimum and only drink diet coke occassionally on the weekends. Normally I drink between 2 - 3 litres a day and sometimes, TMI alert, according to the darkness of my urine, I am still…

I am short, 5'7", but I have never had a problem with a women in heels, love it in all honesty. I have dated a lot of taller women (not hard when you're a short *kitten*) and my ex was actually the first girl I dated who was shorter than me. I have no issue with a taller women, but I have found that taller women seem to…

I personally don't think what you are doing is too intense, I am 36, so a little bit older than you I am assuming and my usual week is as follows: Monday: 1hr 10 in the gym (20 mins cardio (warm-up) followed by 50 mins weights session. Then 1.5 hrs of Tang soo do training Tuesday: 2.5hrs of Kenpo karate, technically my…

2.5 years so far :frown: But not through choice, birth of daughter killed it for my ex and then she decided she wanted out of the relationship, a long drawn out separation including issues with access to my daughter has made me not want any form of relationship, sexual or otherwise. Starting to feel more human again now,…

Never thought about measuring my calves before this thread and thought it would be interesting. I am male, 5'6" and currently have 18" calves. I assume this is big for my height and when I wear shorts at the gym, which is rarely, people do comment on the size of them, well the size of my legs in general I suppose lol as my…

Really was, he was patient, took time in explaining everything, ensured he got around to spending some one on one time with pretty much everyone there and really quite funny. Would definitely recommend attending a seminar held by him if anyone ever gets the chance.
