  • I am holding out for Blue right now.
  • I am going to drop being on the computer past 11 PM. I am struggling with sleep and hope that it will improve it giving my body the time that it needs to heal.
  • I am really enjoying my runs, and I am just starting out. I use an app that plays music from playlist while keeping track of the time for me. It allows me to just do it without worrying about the time.
  • Discussions. The one's that are being used the most will be bumped to the top (like the monthly weight-loss challenges). The stickies were nice, but too hard to keep up with them.
  • I worked on the kitchen during breaks the first time I watched it. I couldn't really remember much of it; so, I watched it again tonight. The Blue Team has consistently been pulling in small numbers amongst the girls.
  • @kimjutor - I think the other trainers are clueless from their emotional responses to contestants leaving their teams. They could just be really good actors though.
  • I'm with you guys on the forum changes. The inability to search for a group is really going to hurt the older groups like this one in finding new members. And why does it post that we are members? I mean, don''t you have to be a member to post? I don't know. It's not even that attractive.
  • I'm with mizzbugsy on cleaning today. I am also planning on finishing the mission in Zombies, Run! I am off on eating and already pretty much broke. I may even end up having to get assistance with food later in the month due to poor planning at the beginning of the month.
  • This is an area I struggle with as well. I practice, to the best of my ability, opposite to emotion skill. I do not shove the emotion away. I acknowledge it and continue to do what is best for me in spite of it. Obviously some days are better than others. If I have a day where the decisions were not what I thought should…

  • 1) I am a fighter. I use my stubbornness to my advantage. 2) I am human. I am wholly human, not half-human, not sub-human, but human. 3) I spoil my service animal (my cat and that's his head in the trash on my ticker). We need each other. 4) I am capable of love and I receive love because I am worthy of it. 5) I like…
  • Tofu, firm tofu. It not only has protein in it, about 14 g, it has all the essential amino acids that are essential for our bodies to build up our muscles, bones, hair, repair of wounds, etc. It is considered a complete protein source just like the egg.
  • I did not meet my goals for yesterday. Goal - Work out a schedule to get everything in - meals, workouts, medication, and when to work on environmental hygiene.
  • 1) Eat something...anything that is not liquid 2) Invest time in environmental hygiene no matter how cute my black cat, Alex the Mighty - see ticker - looks on the giant pink and black ladybug. 3) Get in some organized exercise (thinking Rockin' Body - Mark, Move, and Groove - and a nice walk later. 4) Remind myself of the…
  • I'm Maelyn. At my highest I was 357. I am now down to 265, just a few more pounds to go to reach the 100lb mark, still another 100 lbs to go. My weight goal is 157 as had a body fat % thing done measuring lean mass, etc and discovered with 0% body fat I would weigh 142.6. Now, then as I get small I am going to lose some…
  • We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves strong. The amount of work is the same. - Carlos Castenada Weight Loss Problems #1457 Trying not to slap the person that says you can eat whatever you want as long as you burn it off at the gym. Have you ever exercised so damn hard that your *kitten* signals Batman…

  • Meiya, welcome to the group! A tool that I use to do things one at a time. It can be so tempting to see all the issues and try to tackle them all at once. The problem with that is you burn out, get frustrated easily when something slips or does not seem to work the way you want it too, or it all becomes too much and you…

  • Random Facts: 1 - When I was around three my mother got the idea in her head she wanted more holes in my ears to put earrings in. She decided the best way for her to do this was with a large sewing needle, rubbing alcohol and a candle. She got two more holes in on the right side before I was utterly hysterical. So, I have…
  • I went with a HR monitor that tells me number of cals burned and time of the activity. it keeps logs of my activity as well. For measuring steps I picked up a cheap pedometer from Wal-mart. Between the two of them I spent 72 dollars. I find it really does help me. I have my goal and I like reaching my goals.
  • Hello, Raven. The super moon was beautiful. I was in the hospital at the time, but staff was alright with me when I asked to be able to take my bowl of fruit down to the end of the hall to celebrate. It was definitely going by the seat of my pants though - coffee stirrer instead of a wand, styrofoam (sp) cup instead of a…
  • One of the things I do while on the go is to keep with me a small notebook and have a pen strapped to it. If I am away from home I can just jot it down to log it when I get home. BTW Welcome to what I think is one of the best groups on MFP.
  • @LeAnna - That was a day well spent. Not every exercise or high calorie burn we have needs to come from exercise. I have a couple of criteria I use to decide if something is exercise: 1 - Did I work my muscles more intensely than just lifting the remote? 2 - Did my heart rate get up there with the activity? 3 - Do I…

  • @Theresa - Welcome to the challenge!
  • My breakfast today was a protein shake. I am thinking of fixing up some egg whites into a patty style, take it off, put some pb on it and roll it up.
  • Breakfast: 1 cup of Kashi Blueberry Clusters 1/2 cup Blue Diamond honey almond milk For the second thing I had a soft taco shell that I put whipped pb & chocolate mixture on a small tortilla and added 1 serving of blueberry preserves. I rolled it up like a burrito. Tomorrow I am going to try something new.
  • I'm in for 60. I should be getting a med cleared from my system in a couple of days allowing me to return a more active life.
