Oh Oh, so maybe like 60 ounces a day is borderline for staying sort of hydrated depending on pee colour and anything over is kind of a bonus. I probably drink around that much water and then sometimes have some soda on top of that in the day.

Cardio is great for losing weight and improving fitness and stamina. If you want to gain muscle, you should do resistance / weight training. You can still do the cardio to reap the benefits from it but you should look at a weight lifting program if you're looking at building muscle.

Run faster = Faster 5k time.

I have no idea how much an ounce is.

Strawberries  Fried chicken or pizza?

Hey. I've never actually ran in a 5k race. But I usually do 3-4 5k runs a week. Sometimes, I'll throw in a 4 mile or 10k every so often. So it'd be nice to join the group.

If you're exercising no matter how intense, you're using energy. When your body needs to restore the glycogen you used to do that exercise, it'll use stored fat in your body and food you recently ate to do so.

I drink monster, pepsi max and water.

It's been another week (ish) so here I am checking in again. Not really had much time to run this week but I had some decent runs on the times I did. 8/6 - 0 9/6 - 0 10/6 - 4 11/6 - 0 12/6 - 0 13/6 - 4 Total distance this month so far - 24.7 miles. Not bad for my first time trying this challenge. Maybe I'll try for 50…

Like a lot of people are saying here. It's soluble in water so when it goes through your kidneys, they'll filter out any excess you don't need and you'll pee it out.

At least several hundred calories of watermelon is as filling as a thousand calories worth of fries. That, and the sugars in watermelon are plain old fructose. So there are much worse things you can eat.
-
Sugars are the simplest forms of carbs. If you were on a 100% carb diet, not taking into account deficiencies in amino acids from protein and hormone imbalances from not getting enough fat, the body would break down the carbs into glucose for respiration like it does with most things you eat.
-
Just eat less chips than you normally would. Or maybe don't eat them as often. Just moderate.

I'm 219 lbs and 5'10 and I'm on 2680. Depending on how aggressively you want to lose weight, I wouldn't say that number is too low if you aren't feeling hungry throughout the day.

Probably not...

There's no such thing as true weight. Your weight always fluctuates during the day / week. This is why people feel discouraged when the numbers don't shift on the scale. It's a good idea to measure yourself as well as weigh yourself to get an idea on how much you've "shrunk" or how much fat you've lost over time. Normally,…

Hey. I'm from Nottinghamshire. I'll send you a request :)

In all honestly, I'm not that bothered. I used to be 310 lbs and I'm down to 219 atm. I know I'll eventually hit under 200 if I keep it up.

I'm late to the party but I'll post my goal and what I've run this month so far. So I'll set a goal of 30 miles since I've never done one of these challenges before. 1/6 - 0 2/6 - 3.1 3/6 - 3.1 4/6 - 6.2 5/6 - 0 6/6 - 3.1 7/6 - 1.2 Total so far = 16.7 miles

Those are the bands I listened to today working out XD Throw in some Coheed & Cambria and they'd pretty much be exactly the same.

If you're feeling discouraged after 1 week, you need to re-evaluate what you're eating. Aim for 1-2 lbs a week (whatever gives you more calories to be happy with) and eat things that you enjoy. As long as you don't go over the calorie limit, you'll still lose. You need weight loss to be sustainable so you don't feel this…
-
How long have you been "working out" and how much weight did you gain? Weight =/= fat and when you start a new exercise program, your body will likely retain water to help repair muscle. It's a good idea to measure yourself and not just let a scale dictate your body fat % since weight can fluctuate with a lot of different…

Your body stores any energy you don't use as fat. Not just sugar. If you like bananas, by all means eat them. But if your calorie allowance won't let you, limit yourself.
-
You can either go through the guided setup again and receive a new calorie goal for your current weight or mfp will recommend you to do it after losing so much. I'm not sure how often it recommends it though.

The way to not look fat in clothes is to not be fat.
-
This is just my personal opinion. You don't look fat in that bikini. But there isn't a surefire way to target parts of your body. As you lose fat, you might lose some from your stomach, but it'll also come from some other parts of your body as well.
