Fasting will break insulin resistance no problem. In extreme cases, a dry fasting is needed, but this is super-rare. People who overproduce too much insulin at a meal on an ongoing basis can take the more drastic approach, but it almost isn't needed. Don't restrict all carbs, just junk sugars, if you must.

Do you like Oklahoma? What is there to do there?

Hi, 2 to 3 weeks isn't necessarily that long for a plateau. I've had a 3 1/2 week long plateau. Just put your body in a state of the lowest stress possible. And don't be stuck on any particular diet or eating plan. OMAD only. Remember, don't look for perfection. The only thing I had going for me was...inflexibility. I…

Wowy Jim!

Way to go!

The issue isn't an eating time, per se, but the problems start when people keep consuming more food over a longer window. If that is not you, then I see nothing wrong with eating over 4 hours.

Excellent! Feels good, doesn't it?!

Good job.

Welcome, Alex! You are going to knock it out! I can tell! -Joe

Welcome! You put a lot into that, I see! I, too, would get a fix at Taco Bell quite often. I can relate. Just remember, the more inclined people are to share their journey, the more they need to recognize that there will come days when you won't want to continue your journey. Learn to eat OMAD and make a way of life.…

Hot water (sipped like coffee) is another completely calorie and guilt-free way to alleviate hunger.

Yes, it's fine. It will not create an insulin response.

The general range is between 189 and 200, but I have thrown that out the window for February and have purposely gone more than 10 over for strength and mass gains. See original post. Now, for March, I will gradually drop back to the range but may decide to reset it. I feel great lately.

Alright, Neil--welcome! Time to knock this out!

Hi, Alain... I wouldn't worry. Losses will taper off. Just keep a steady course and create a progress thread so we can all be in on your journey (if you are comfortable with that). -Joe

Excellent progress!

Can't do that. Gotta be able to handle the hunger or else the day will come, inevitably, when that looming hunger will snag you and throw you off. Make peace with it now and accept the hunger. Otherwise, that's "all she wrote." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKqSDYvEjso

I'm a nerd, too. *Vulcan "live long and prosper" sign*

Newbs, please start your own progress threads so we can offer support.

It does NOT raise blood-sugar or insulin, but certainly isn't needed unless you are fighting a sugar craving and want some extra help.

I used to do it every day for the first month with juice after the meal (for the beverage). Then twice a week at the same time and occasion. I don't do it anymore very often at all since I have VERY low cholesterol.

ACV will yield results, trust me.

way to go! welcome back

Dang! Careful of kidney stones. Be sure you are getting an equal amount of distilled water.
