  • Hey all!! Just wanted to say congrats to all of you who are going strong with this! A few of you in level 2 already! It seems that most of you are doing 6 days + 1 rest day in each level...I was thinking of doing ten at each level (like 30DS), maybe with a rest day in the middle and at the end of each? That would make it…
  • Cauliflower: cut into small pieces and drizzle with about 1 tablespoon olive oil (depending how much cauliflower you're using), then sprinkle with salt and/or other seasonings. Spread out in a single layer on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 40-60 minutes (until light brown). Turn them over 3-4 times throughout…
  • FRIDAY WEIGH-IN: 138.1 lbs (loss of 0.9). For me to reach my Halloween goal, I need an average loss of 0.76 lbs a week. So I'm very happy with that number!! ALSO, my halfway point to my ultimate goal was 138.7. I'm officially in the second half of my weight loss!! The little frog in my signature got to jump past that…
  • Just made tuna burgers for supper! When I make a sandwich I use: 1 can tuna 1 T fat-free miracle whip a little sweet relish a small chopped dill pickle chopped onion salt & pepper and shredded cheese if I can spare the calories! sometimes I put it on 2 slices of bread (open-faced) and shred cheese on top, then broil them…
  • Wow!! AMAZING accomplishment and your son is gorgeous :) Very inspiring!
  • I still weigh-in as I normally would. This is my mindset: I made a mistake, it's my fault, and I need to see the damage as motivation to fix it. I feel like if I avoid the scale once, I'll keep messing up and avoiding the scale more and more... then when I finally weigh myself, I'll have a HUGE gain. Hope that makes some…
  • Maria - I hope you're right about quick deliveries! I think the issue is that I'm in Canada but I ordered from Amazon in the US, because the Canadian Amazon website didn't have it in stock at the time.
  • I tried it. Even though it is a "fad diet," you're really just cutting out carbs developing healthier eating habits. I lost 12lbs in 21 days (then stopped, and started counting calories again). So far I've kept it off and I still use a lot of ideas I learned from the diet!

  • only a 0.2lb drop on Friday, but that means I finally broke my plateau! So maybe this week I'll see a bigger loss!
  • Amazon's estimated delivery date is August 10th! Little longer than I had hoped but I'll play around with some other JM DVDs in the meantime. Still excited to start the day it comes in! Congrats to you guys who've already started!
  • Try drinking hot water with lots of lemon juice squeezed into it, preferably when you wake up (before breakfast).
  • Bumping this because I'm in the same boat! Maybe try switching up your excercises, adding more cardio, and only eating about half of your exercise calories.
  • My first weigh-in for this thread is tomorrow! Not sure what to expect because I've been playing with calorie goals this week (plateau! ugh!) Nice costume pics by the way! I like the ideas
  • Thanks for starting the new thread! Can't wait to get started! korygilliam L1D0 (plan to start Aug 1st) Michele0912 L1D0 (plan to start Aug 3rd) pizzygirltx (started on July 23) BeccyBerry L1D0 (plan to start on the 1st) Erica79 L1D0 (Aug 1st) Evotchka (Eva) L1D0 (08/01) shels67 (started july 25) gd50cent L1D0…
  • Jack & diet coke? If you don't mind the taste.

  • Can I still join?!? Halloween was my timing goal as well, so this is perfect! :) SW (7/25/11): 139 lbs GW (10/31/11): 129 lbs GW (12/25/11): maintaining between 120-125 lbs My weigh-in days will be Fridays! Good luck to everyone! Please add me as a friend so we can help keep each other motivated!
  • I did the same thing when I found a little bump on my leg!! lol congrats on your discovery... won't be long until your arms love those cute tank tops
  • In a dressing room around last Christmas - I was trying on jeans and a shirt, put on the jeans first and I was standing in front of the mirror, shirtless, in pants that SHOULD have fit me. They barely did up, and I saw my muffin top and rolls hanging over them. I thought, "wow, when did this happen?" I bought the jeans…
  • Great thread idea! Can I join in? I'm going into my second year this fall, and I gained a small amount of weight during my first year (not quite a freshman 15 though!) I want to lose 15-20 more pounds and need some healthier eating habits while in school. Please feel free to add me as a friend, I've been looking for some…
  • I weigh every morning, but only log my weight once a week (Friday mornings).
  • I use Weight Watchers whole wheat buns - 110 cals and 220 mg of sodium (according to an online source).
  • mine's the opposite! If my treadmill says i burned 400-500, MFP says 190! HUGE difference. I just do the same, record the lower number.
  • Cravings are the WORST! I'm getting better though. Chocolate is my biggest one; I keep a dark chocolate bar around and have 1 square when I need chocolate, or a low-fat fudge bar (70 cals, and yummy!). I also keep freezie-type things around for sweet cravings, they range from 35-50 cals or so. When I have a salt craving,…
  • We are on the same day :) I've only lost 1.4 lbs. It sucks but I'm expecting it to start speeding up, and to lose some inches!!
  • sorry, no answer for you, but I swim lots and was wondering the same thing! For anyone who has one, how much did it cost?
  • tough one! I'm curious about the responses you'll get! I drink Crystal Light sometimes because I get tired of water so fast, and I count that as water because it's just adding sugarless, calorie-free flavor to water. I don't count diet pop or anything like that, but I also don't drink it very often (maybe once a week). By…

  • AGREED!! I don't think I would have stuck with it this long if it wasn't for your dedication, thanks SO MUCH for helping us all through this!! kpensyl- I had a bit of a weight gain at first, then FINALLY had a big drop on friday (which happens to be my weigh-in day  ). That was my 3rd day of level 2, so…
  • HALFWAY THERE! Just finished day 5 of level 2, some moves are STILL kicking my butt! (cough, plank thrusts, v-raises). Feels good though! Legs feel a bit smaller and I think I have some upper ab muscles that are trying to pop up soon...maybe I'm just tricking myself lol, we'll see what the measuring tape has to say in 2…
  • Don't worry, I hurt myself and took a 3 day break!! Once I felt like I could keep exercising, I did! (though a little modified). I just got right back in, did my tenth day of level one and, even with the break and the injury, I felt like it was one of my best days, and I wasn't sore after :) don't let it kill your spirit!…
