I'd recommend staying away from baking soda. It has a different PH than your scalp and hair. I've used it before and thought I was getting amazing results, but my hair just felt dry. It was my grandmother, who gave me the wake up call. She said it's basic chemistry. Why don't you try honey water?

Once a week.

Amazing results! You look so much younger. It's great for parents to motivate their children at an early age to be active.

Yes, I lost 60lbs in 6 months just by eating healthy and being on a deficit. Ditch the potatoes, crisps and bread. Eat more fish and veggies. Also eat at a deficit and drink more than 2L of water per day.

'Beyond Bread: Why Some People Can Eat More Carbs Than Others' - because they don't suffer from insulin resistance or diabetes. Other than that, I agree with your point. They should just switch to whole wheat and keep their portions under control.

Your last two replies are smth everyone should read, as they are the perfect description on food triggers and how to learn to cope with them. Sometimes, it makes it easier knowing someone else went through the same thing, and succeeded.

I very much agree. While I was reading the post, I understood what he went through. Stress and depression do make you addicted to food, as food can be one way of coping with your emotions. I read the whole story and thought that you were in your twenties, but then I saw your first before pic and thought 'nope she's in her late thirties' ->(not to be rude). Lucky! If I eat anything with sugar (from a package, not from fruits), I become lethargic, bloated, headaches...just a mess.

I have been diagnosed with PCOS for abt 3 years. However,it was last year I got a wake up call after I hit 210lbs, and my health was on the downfall. I was put on metformin and low-calorie diet. I dropped 60lbs in 5 months with very little exercise and I have been maintaining it since. I am 150 lbs and trying to lose the…

I have been constipated longer than I can remember. Things that seem to work for me are beans, dates, okra, plum juice, persimmons (the best natural laxative) and when I haven't flushed the toilet for more than a week epsom salts. Drink lots of water and don't be afraid of olive oil.

Anyone feel free to add me.

Mouth watering.

Oooh Bagels. I might have to join BAGELS ANNONIMOUS with you. God, they're good. They go with everything. Never had the cheesy jalapeno bagels, but they sound delicious (cheese good, jalapenos goood, bagels gooooood...what's not to like).
-
Wow...congrats! it's a big difference visually too. Keep up the good work.

I used to be bloated all the time. Very painful. After cutting milk and bread from my diet, the bloat has gone away. Have you tried not drinking milk and see what happens?
