I don't try to reason with my family, as I am an adult and capable of making my own choices. I don't really care what they think in terms of my diet or workouts. My sister once yelled at me (at 35 years old) for not eating breakfast. I nodded and that was the end of it. That said, when we go out to eat I'm a little more…

The simple answer is to log it under cardio as "strength training."

Stronglifts 5x5

If you call it a calorie counting site, someone will tell you "NO, IT'S A FITNESS SITE." If you call it a fitness site, someone will tell you "NO, IT's A CALORIE COUNTING WEBSITE." You really can't win, so it's best to just stick to nudes and cat gifs. *shrug*

I'm here for shenanigans only.

Yes, 3 times. I got fatter and ended up with mouths to feed after. I don't recommend.

It could mean that he's returning home with a new girlfriend. A different girl. Not one place is it mentioned that she is "new and improved." Project much?

How did you get that out of the OP?

It doesn't sound like she was trying to be rude. Some people just have different ways of phrasing things, but I also don't know what else was said. A rude compliment to me would be something like "You are so beautiful. Just think of how much more beautiful you'd be if you lost 40 pounds." THAT'S a rude compliment.

Start against the wall and move your way down over time. Wall, counter, 5th step, 4th step, 3rd step, etc., until you get to the floor. It will take time. I couldn't do a real push up to save my life...now I can.

It took me a long time to realize that certain styles just aren't flattering on me. You may not have to lose a whole lot; you might just have to find a different style that flatters your body more. But to answer your question: eating at a caloric deficit and exercise.
-
You have to go through your phone's web browser, or log onto a computer.

It's possible, not ideal. You may feel like crap the whole time too. 1200 calories is not a lot and may lead to ragequitting. Set your goal a little higher so that you don't feel like you're starving but still in a deficit. Patience and consistency are needed, also. Good luck.

Look, being proud is one thing. But please, own your attention *kitten*-ness. You can post a progress picture that isn't quite as "look at me" as this one is.
-
It smells like catfish in here.
-
"Comparison is the thief of joy." It doesn't matter what anyone else squats. It doesn't matter what you read in a book. What matters is that you keep progressing.
-
Did you tell MFP you want to lose 2 pounds a week? Regardless, you can manually set your goals to whatever.

Jillian Michaels has a bunch of stuff on YouTube

Start lifting yesterday.

I used to, but then realized my "me" time is just as important as my family time. Not that it's possible for everyone, but I made a home gym so I didn't have to go anywhere to work out. My kids are a little older though, and don't need as much attention as an infant.

It depends on what you're doing, but with what you describe, I'm not surprised you didn't see any change. Starting out, Stronglifts routines will take about 40 minutes. Once the weight gets heavier, it takes longer. But if you're just throwing weights around with no rhyme or reason, you're really just wasting your time.
