When I was larger I've seen mine flucuate by 5 points on some days. But now, on average it goes up and down by about 2-3lbs. Throughout the day.

I never thought twice about it. I jogged for 25 mins yesterday. About to ride my bike 6 miles home when i get off of work in 6 mins. Heck I'm coughing right now. I'm interested to hear what the responses will be about this.

See, thats what I was saying. I don't expect to lose 3-5lbs a week now. In the beginning when I lost that much, I knew it was water weight and just the simple shock my body had that I had changed my lifestyle. You are 2 months in and I think its very normal to lose .5 - 2 lbs a week. MFP doesn't even give you an option to…

That is awesome! I'm on week 7 of c25k. I can see my self attempting the 5k soon myself. I don't know about the 45 mins but I'll give it my all.

How long have you been attempting to lose weight? When the scale goes down i get happy. No matter if its just .5 lbs. Early on, I lost a lot of weight in the early weeks. But not I don't lose as quickly. But I don't worry about it because I know I'm much healthier than before. Just keep making healthy life decisions and…

I'm doing the c2k5 too! I'm on week 7 day 2. I missed some days (i like to run one day and take the next day off) but you just gotta keep it moving. Just continue when you get better. I personally wouldn't even take a step back. Doesn't it feel good knocking down those weeks? I can't believe I jogged for 25 mins yesterday…

I have/had sleep apnea. did the sleep study and the doctor told me if I lost 15lbs, it will probably make me better. I lost the weight but i haven't done another sleep study so I need to check that out again soon. However, I haven't felt as tired as I've felt before being diagnosed. I remember being very tired while at…

30 mins and just around the neighborhood? I would imagine the dog would be able to handle that no problem

The distance will change depending on a few conditions. Will they be walking on a soft shaded trail or hot pavement? will they be on leash being forced to walk your pace or will they be off leash and allowed to run around at their own pace. I'm part of a group who hikes with their dogs. the dogs range from chi's to Great…

Or Craigslist. Just don't get kidnapped when you go to pick up your slightly worn scale.

I started riding my bike to work after joining mfp. Big calorie burner there since its 6 miles one way with some nice hills.
-
I hear you on the heat. Its bad here too. It was 101 yesterday with the heat index. i still got out there and did my day of c25k. Took a lot out of me though. Hydrate and keep it moving!
-
Ooop, i forgot to change mine and its been a while! thanks for reminding me!

I personally treat every day as its own day. However, Weightwatchers allows you to carry over "points" which is essentially calories to the next day for the entire week. So they kind of have a weekly goal.

6181+23=6204 lbs lost

I've read that its hit or miss as far as this type of drop in people. I guess i got hit lol.

Well, I only used one pack. My blood sugar was at 110 after lunch today (sushi) and after the tea (one packet of stevia) it took me down to 90 in about an hour. Kind of dumb for me to keep trying to use it but I was just curious about when I'd be able to. apparently 110 isn't a good time for me to use stevia. Imagine if…

Great suggestion! However, the Wii Balance board is has a weight limit of 330lbs. :( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Balance_Board So the original poster can get one but he'd have to wait a few weeks before he'd be able to use it. And the wii and balance board combined will cost 2-300 bucks. Yoga(free), walking(free),…

Walking, Swimming, and Yoga. Things that are low impact. I was about that weight at my highest weight but I was still able to do these 3 things just fine. getting on a elipitcal machine is another great no impact exercise. I suggest those exercises just in case you have concern for your joints. And Cycling is another great…

Great post as always mollie. I step on the scale maybe twice a day sometimes. I don't let it affect me but its just a habit i have developed. I honestly think i expect it to say I still way 300 lbs one day. I still just can't believe I'm actually losing weight. However, I only officially weigh in and document my weight…

Love these. i had 2 for breakfast yesterday! I had to take them out of my daily breakfast though. i used to eat one morningstar veggie sausage patty and a pack of instant oat meal. Now I'm just down to the oatmeal.
-
at that point, I've seen a lot of people on here say pay attention to your measurements and not the numbers on the scale.
-
I did the ones at the Gym, didn't care about what the weight limit was as they had nothing posted. I was 300 lbs on that one and it didn't crumble under my weight or anything. My stationary bike is rated at 250. I've had it and used it since I was 300 lbs. the only issue there may have been the calorie count probably read…

I tend to leave a bit. I do this because of margin of error.

lol thanks a lot buddy!

Some people are pack driven. They are motivated by positive reinforcement and kind words. Some people don't need this type of motivation. I respect both types equally.
-
Or they could be like me and come under the calorie goal but I often eat bad stuff still :( I don't think I deserve an atta boy a lot of the time.
-
*crickets* LOL, atleast I thought it was a good topic. LMAO

the ones where you wear it around your chest are more accurate. I got the Garmin Forerunner 305. It has a lot of neat features that I like.
-
just put in the time you walked and the time you ran seperately. it should be somewhat close. When I did this the number from the HRM ended up being pretty close to mfp.
