I can't take any vitamin early in the morning...not even with food. Makes me really nauseous. I take it after lunch with a bunch of water. No problems then.

Just go for it and have fun. Nothing much to think about before hand that I'm aware of. I wouldn't eat a huge meal, but a little snack might help. Apple & pb, etc..

No trouble whatsoever...lol. After a couple months of weight lifting, I needed a break this week....so I took it. The continued soreness is leaving, and I'll be ready to hit it again Monday.

I'm with the people suggesting a foam roller. This made an incredible difference for me. About week 4 of lifting, I increased the weight again, and ended up lifting a bit too much with my lower back on dead lifts rather than making sure to push it out with my legs and keep that strain off my back. Well, I've been at it since Jan 1, and I'm having somewhat of a cheat week. Just taking a break from exercise...giving my body some rest, and being a bit laid back on watching the food. I'm still logging it most days, but sneaking in some goodies. Next Monday, I'll be back at it.

I just realized that my toilet seat is parallel for me....I've been practicing.....hahahahahaha! I think I've been pretty damn close to parallel at the gym from the feel of it. ;P

I've seen very few at my gym go down to parrallel, so I'm guessing I'm not making it that far either. Going to take some more practice. The farther down I go, the more I feel like I'm tipping backwards...maybe not holder the bar just right on my shoulders? Or maybe need to tip forward a bit more....hmmmm.

K....thanks for the info on the squats. I think I'm parallel, and that's what I've been trying for all along, but just not quite sure by the feel of it. I will have a trainer take a look at my form next time to be sure. Thanks again.

hmmm...how much are you planning to lose? 5'7" at 149....not much to lose, imo. I'd also say you're way under eating. Up the protein and good luck with that low number of calories every day. But, you won't be able to keep up with that for long. You're not even hitting your bmr each day.
