I totally agree! On my first day back I wrote a big rant about how I felt like a failure and that I didn't deserve to choose better circumstances for myself. Immediately I told myself, wait what?? I'm talking like someone that will fail. So I deleted that whole text and re-wrote one that acknowledged those thoughts as past…

I've done low carb and keto in the past. I found that after a couple of days the cravings would go away. Make sure to eat plenty of vegetables and fats to fill you up. You might want to supplement with magnesium and potassium. Don't overconsume water, as it will flush the electrolytes you already have in your system. I…

@Calildur You could find activities that you enjoy and that get you moving during the weekend! Maybe indoor wall climbing, hiking, a walk in the park, cycling, going for lessons of martial arts or anything really! Just a few ideas. Congrats on your weight loss! ox

@quiksylver296 Well there are diet ones like Halo Top that is delicious! Around 300cals for the whole pint. I love them ♥

Like the previous poster suggested, the frozen food isle would have a bunch of quick and easy options for you as well. Maybe get pre-sliced fruit trays and bagged salad, they are easy and ready to go! Soups too, and they are really comforting. They're are some really nice smoothie fruit mixes in the frozen section too,…

Saw your post and wanted to reach out! First of all, I want to tell you that you are stunning! So beautiful! Losing weight will only enhance what you already are. Don't see diet and exercise as punishments. You need to do this for you and you only. Maybe have a sit down talk with your boyfriend and let him know how you…

YASSSS. I totally agree. Life is hard, and it's often easier to blame it on your partner when you're married. I think what is beautiful about marriage, or mine anyway, is that I know that even if it's not all rainbow and butterflies, fresh and exciting, romantic and special all the time, I love the person my husband is and…

Let's have kids we said. It will be fun we said! **FACEPAML!!** I totally agree. Being in a marriage where every decision has to be shared, having a family where self-sacrifice is a requirement, dealing with all the non-sense on a daily basis and it seems like a never ending nightmare. Love my kids to pieces but I miss…

OMG so funny that I stumbled upon this post just as I was stressing about a family dinner next week at a Chinese restaurant  I googled ''chinese food healthy options'' and then searched for the menu and figured out my best option will be beef and broccoli so I pre-logged it for that day already! Done!

Get quick things to prepare from the grocery store! Bags of salad ready to go, plates of meat and cheese, delicious soups to reheat. Less expensive and usually more healthy. Or batch cook something in the slow cooker for the week. Whatever you do, make things simple and you're more likely to stick to it! Good luck oxox

Small serving of chili I am making and a huge salad

Check out Dr Berg on Youtube!

Same here. Came back after every pregnancy and hopefully for the last time now lol.

Because it helps me stop having cravings for all sorts of things by keeping my blood sugar low. I am also more in tune with my hunger levels and don't tend to overeat eating keto. And intermittent fasting comes naturally after the starting phase as my hunger decreases dramatically. It makes it then really easy to follow…

I would say to focus on the food and its nutrients to start off. Also find the satisfaction in the meals you are preparing and enjoying the process. I personally pre-log my days so I have a plan and can make the adjustments needed to stick to it before it's too late. I never tested for ketones but I feel energized and…

Thanks for the info. I personally don't like the challenges so not much else for me there.

I checked it out but didn't like it all that much. Not that much content, and most posts are super duper old and no one replied to my posts  I assume some people like you don't know, but it gets aggravating when people keep suggesting this in practically every keto posts when it's not relevant lol. Thanks for…

I personally don't like that group because it's not active. It just seems to be somewhere the rest of the people like to link for keto/low carb people so they can make them go away. Honestly, I practically never see any other group referenced. Only for this instance. The general forum is for everyone.

Everyone seems to be asking this question, so I'll just copy and paste what I wrote to a friend last night. Since not a lot of people reach out to help keto beginners! Hope this helps!! Feel free to add me, I post tons of pictures of my food and my diary is open too! ox I like to keep things simple! Meat and veggies are…

I just sent this to a friend last night who wanted ideas for meals. Hope this helps!! ♥ I like to keep things simple! Meat and veggies are the base of my diet. Nuts and cheese in small portions. I'm trying to avoid but butter and cream cheese for now as I have trouble controlling myself with these. For snacks I would have…

If you feel like you are starving, try eating something like veggies with hot sauce! Yesterday I had some mushroom caps filled with a tiny bit of goat cheese and hot sauce. Hope this helps!!

I get what you mean but sometimes bad habits need to be eradicated. Saving calories for later at night might work, or he might just be feeding the beast and want more once he starts eating. I personally used to wake up multiple times at night (I have 3 kids under 4 and there is always someone that needs something) and…

It's definitely not necessary for weight loss, but it helps tremendously with managing hunger and food obsession. I personally really enjoy this way of eating. It's really hard for me to have sweets and candies in moderation but once I've been eating keto for a while it's not even something that I want or miss anymore. I…

Sending you a FR!! :)

Same here! Keto just eradicates my unhealthy sweet cravings, and helps me tune in to my TRUE hunger cues. I try to eat between 1200-1500cals depending on the level of physical activity that day.

I just started back on keto Im on day 3! Sending you a friend request

I would just like to add that no, you won't lose as much muscle in 5 months time using a less aggressive deficit while doing some sort of strength training program as you would. But I do agree that some people would feel more motivated by quick results while starting out, but it's definitely not a sustainable way. I would…

I am following the TransformNation program that offers a gym and at-home workouts. It's a 4 months progressive overload program that has a glute focus (instead of quad dominant exercises like many typical stength training program). It also teaches you to eat intuively according to macro nutrients, and once you have…

No more dealing with knee and back pain! I can sit down and get up without grunting. I can go up the stairs easily. Heck, the stairs have become my warm up! Seriously!!

How about eating enough so you don't starve yourself and therefore break the bingeing-restricting cycle  I'm talking from experience here. Never realized I did that in the past. Good luck! ♥
