That's fantastic man. Sounds like we have been down similar paths. I started at 245, have lost about 50 pounds and still need to lose another 20 or so. Just didn't have the time for the gym so I start doing P90X. I love that and can get it done in 30 minutes in the morning. Keep up the awesome work!!

Don't be so hard on yourself. This weight loss thing is not easy. Why do you stop logging on the weekend? Whether you are good or bad, keep logging. You might find it more difficult to sabotage if you log it. Walking 3 miles a day takes a pretty long time depending on how fast you walk. Also I get really bored just…

I'm with you on the relationship with the fridge. I'm also really good friends with his buddy, the pantry (where the potato chips are). I am also in tech and spend most of my time sitting. I have lost over 50 pounds counting calories and exercising (just started P90X a few months ago). Feel free to add me.

I became interested in it a few years ago and did lot's of research. My sister has a medical degree and volunteered her A&P textbook from college. I can't say that I remember it all but I did manage to read the entire textbook. In some ways it was a bit frightening to realize how complex it all is and that it actually…

A lot of times when I buy sub sandwiches from places like JJ or subway I consolidate the meat onto half of the bread and only eat half the bread. It makes for a much more hearty sandwich and I cut some of the calories.

I have to agree with the comments above. You are not logging on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. That's nearly 1/2 of the total days of the week. What's going on during those days? If you eat it, log it. Anytime I violate that rule, I overeat.

Tried one "diet" after another for many years. Been through WW, Atkins, Paleo, etc. etc. Unfortunately I always wondered why I could have this and not have that. Also there was always that thought in the back of my head about doing the diet until I lost weight. MFP, or more appropriate CICO, is the first time that I have…
