I'm with you on that one. I do one of the DVD workout routines that is 6 days a week with 1 day off. But on that day I always feel like something is missing from my day. I have since starting doing a bit of Ab work on that day and it makes me feel better.

Pretty boring. Right after workout I usually make a strawberry/protein smoothie. After showering I usually have some greek yogurt.

Made this last night. It was awesome. Thanks for the recipe. I used a shallow silicone muffin tin so I ended up with 12 servings and just ate two. :-)

Pay attention to the ads for all of these type products. They always have some disclaimer at the bottom like "results when used with appropriate diet and exercise". Translation: They don't do much and all the results were achieved with diet and exercise.

I always had problems making it to the gym. I know others are just the opposite but the thought of actually having to go somewhere to workout always caused me to put it off. I starting doing various DVD workouts and love this. I try to stick with the ones that are higher intensity for shorter periods of time, say 30 mins…

Welcome. There are a lot of really good folks here that are happy to help. For the exercise, I get up each morning about 45 minutes earlier than I have to and work out to one of several DVD's that I have. I am here most every day and would be happy to help. Feel free to send me a FR.

No magic to protein shakes. They are just a quick and easy way to add protein. I usually have one immediately after my morning workout. Then if I am still hungry after showering I grab something like greek yogurt.

I have several different DVD workout videos so I can mix and match them when I start to get bored of one routine.

Just do it, but remember that it is only one of many better measurements. Get your starting weight. Take your measurements. Take some starting pictures. You will be glad you took the pictures later.

I absolutely love P90X3. Been doing it for about 4 weeks now. I started out not being able to do but one pull-up and using the pull-up helper. I can now do 4 pull-ups and getting stronger. I did the Mud Run at Camp Pendleton a few years ago. We did it as a team so that everyone waited on the rest of the team before crossing the finish line. We all had a blast.
