If I had made that comment there would not be enough left of me to identify. You are doing the right thing. Just keep it up. Looking good is the best revenge.

There are a lot of really good ones out there but I like P90X[23]. It's a bit expensive but it's what I enjoy and look forward to each morning. Just my two cents worth.

From always being the engineer, I would say don't change too many things at once. There is a lot of good advice here but changing too many things at once will leave you wondering which one worked. Try one or two changes at a time to see what works and what does not.

Yep. The fluctuations where driving me crazy. At this point I only weigh ever 3-4 weeks.

After I log my breakfast, I usually go ahead and pre-log what I am going to have for dinner. That gives me a good idea of what I have left for lunch and snacks. Overall I probably don't spend more than 2 minutes a day logging so it is neither a burden nor an obsession.

Amazing job!! Congrats!!

Amazing story. You are truly an inspiration to all of us. Here's to another 1000.

Goals like quitting for 1 year, though admirable, are often really hard for me to stick to. Then I break them and feel really bad about it. I used to hit the drive through a lot, a really lot. I did not make any effort at stopping but by eating healthier, exercising in the morning and losing weight, I sort of just stopped…

Feel free to add me. I'm here a good bit and happy to help.

I usually do a protein smoothie right after my workout in the morning. I then go take my shower and decided if I am still hungry afterward. If so, I might grab some greek yogurt or some oatmeal to finish things off in the morning.

I know we all put a lot of emphasis on the scale but it really is the worst thing to track on short term. I have almost gotten to the point where I only weigh ever 3-4 weeks. Otherwise I get frustrated with the fluctuations like: Week 1 - Lost 1 pound of fat but holding 1 pound of water = 0 lbs lost Week 2 - Lost 1 more…

Did pretty well first few days. Still going strong after 2 1/2 weeks. Turns out that I liked the Yoga better than I thought I would but probably enjoy the the Warrior the most. I will be in transition next week. Looking forward to some new stuff.

Dang it, I'm late to the mean people thread. What a nice way to start Monday.

Exactly this. The only thing that has really worked for me is knowing I can have whatever I want, just in moderation. Well, that and a really lot of exercise. :-)

For me it's usually steak fajitas. I can then decided what I want to put on them instead of them deciding for me.

Just did. Anyone can feel free to send me one also.
