Lift, Lift, Lift!! You will NOT bulk up - I PROMISE you!! The only way to get the nice toned body you want is by lifting weights. Trust me, you will still lose weight - and after all, isn't it FAT that you want to lose, not just weight. Muscle burns more calories than fat does. START LIFTING NOW! :)

I like Tom Venuto - I think the Burn The Fat Feed The Muscle book makes a lot of sense. More so I try to eat clean - I LOVE Tosca Reno's Eat Clean Diet. They are both pretty similar though - eat 5-6 smaller meals per day - have lean protein, complex carbs in every meal, drink lots of water, etc.

My trainer suggested whey protein. I try not to make it a staple of my daily diet, just throw it in on days that I don't get enough protein from whole foods. I've never mixed it into anything other than oatmeal, but I'm sure it's possible...

These are my "go to" lean proteins... egg whites fat free greek yogurt hummus almonds and almond butter chicken breast turkey breast tuna, salmon, other fish, shrimp lean pork protein powder - as a drink or mixed into oatmeal
