MFP has every measurement/weight/volume/etc for everything you could ever need.

Nope, no one reads these.

It sounds like you're unnecessarily restricting yourself and then trying to make up for that with one day of splurging. It's not really a healthy way to go about things.
-
Those people are laughing about you behind your back because they managed to convince you muscle gain and weight gain are different.

In a sleepy state it's easier to not eat, you know, because you're sleepy and have little energy to do anything other than sleep. Finding food and eating it is a deliberate effort that requires you to go out of your way from what you were previously doing.

Agreed, total bro-science. When you have your meals is irrelevant and has no effect on how much fat you burn, calories in vs. calories out dictates that. But, breakfast can be important in preventing you from going hungry and overeating later on in the day. A 90 calorie breakfast seems like self-punishment.

What's wrong with eating big portions at night? Just readjust what you eat during the day so it fits in.

Almonds are a good source of fat, but that means they're quite calorie dense so you really should log them. You're probably okay with a small amount of watermelon though. Personally I don't log vegetables, spices (as long as I'm only using a pinch or two) or the squash I use to make my greens drink somewhat bearable.…

Same question for me, I have a feeling we'll discover the problem once this is answered. You can't eat too little to lose weight, it's just that if you eat too little, the weight you lose won't be fat.

I like less frequent, large meals. More frequent small meals leaves me hungry. Currently on maintenance so four equal sized meals works out nicely for me. If I was cutting, it'd be three good sized meals and something more akin to a snack at the end of the day. When I'm on bulking calories, I'd probably fit a snack between…

Unless you're counting calories, you don't know that for sure. Quite often people eat more than they think, sure there are actual studies on that. Everyone is naturally biased towards underestimating what they eat, give counting a try and see how that works out. If you're not losing weight over a month, it's because you're…

Powdered peanut butter. Try PB2, Greek yoghurt, banana, milk, cocoa and avocado. In whatever amount you find best.

Your suffering is amusing to me, keep it up.

Eat whatever way suits you best.

Both, eat plenty of food that has the most nutritional benefit and also fit in some food that has more mental benefits. Your diet doesn't need a name, it just needs to work for you.
-
You haven't logged anything for the previous two days, or the previous Monday, Sunday, Saturday, Friday, etc. It doesn't seem like you're logging at all here, which would explain your results.

The scale of comparison I like to use to try and figure out how accurate calorie burn is that a professional footballer/soccer player can burn 750 calories+ in a 90 minute match running around constantly. I think for most people if they compare their efforts and time spent exercising to that will realise they haven't burn…

Motivational quotes? How about "I'm going to die if I don't get this done"? You are your own motivation, take responsibility, you are capable of it.

I had a full bar of chocolate recently, one of the big sized ones. I'm part of the 'fit it into your macros' crowd too, it's fun to see what you can fit in whilst eating plenty of fibre along with it.

Welcome to the internet, you say something, others reply agreeing or disagreeing. Actually, that's life in a nutshell. You definitely need to do further research into some of those bold claims you posted before. But hey, I hope you're right.

No, I'd assume she was perfectly fine with what she's doing and wouldn't appreciate someone randomly coming up to tell her she's doing it wrong. If she asked me for my advice though, I'd help her as best as I could. To be honest, I doubt I'd even notice her to begin with as I'm just focused on what I'm doing. Everything…

As an additional tip, the place I used to work was JD Wetherspoon, so I'd recommend the chicken pepper skewers. They're about 400-500 calories, you get a lot of protein with them, the chicken is quite chunky, you get a side salad, the peri peri sauce comes in a separate dish, and you can choose to have them with basmati…

@livingleanlivingclean Just about, I think they're even reasonably popular in Belgium now. They gave us Belgian chocolate, and we apparently gave them greasy pasties and sausage rolls in return. You're welcome, Belgium. @Vailara I guess when you come into Newcastle on a train, you need that Greggs confirmation that you're…

I used to work in a pub/restaurant chain and our breakfasts could be anywhere from 1000 to 2000 calories, so if you're eating out, be wary. If you're ever in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, see how many branches of Greggs (kind of a bakery version of McDonalds) you can see. If you go more than a couple of minutes without seeing one,…

Your weight is irrelevant because none of us know how comfortable you feel with that weight.

Buy a small house with enough room for my own private gym. A nice used car. Save the rest and live off the interest.

1) At least though when you're feeling hungry then you are hungry knowing that hunger will soon be satisfied. But maybe break your lunch down a little bit so you can have a small snack about this time? 2) This might be the best time to plan a large meal then? If your body is demanding food, maybe it's doing so for a reason.

That's the cr**piest sounding 'cheat day' I've ever heard of. If you're going to cheat, you may as well have a cheat meal a bit more frequently than your cheat day.

CICO is the bottom line of weight loss, every special fad diet with a brand name that produces any results is all as a result of CICO. The problem is too many people think weight loss has to be consistent and don't realise you should average out your results over a period of time longer than a week.
