Some baked sweet potato wedges (w/ cinnamon and chili powder): And baked cod fillets (glaze of barley miso, toban djan, and aji-mirin) and Chinese broccoli in a garlic black bean sauce:

Some past eats. Japanese style chicken curry: Chocolate chocolate chip mini muffins: Skull mini-pizzas and crossbones bread sticks: And gum (sugar free root beer float), because I was amazed at the flavor and how long it lasted:

Flaxseed works well as a binding agent. Mix 1 tbsp ground flaxseed + 3 tbsp water = 1 egg

The distribution here is not normal. Definitely skewed with a lot of nonstandard deviants.

Made individual pizzas and the crust was made with flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. That's right, real dough. Didn't taste at all like cauliflower.

I'm headed to the county fair on Friday, and I am surprised that after 5 pages, there hasn't been a pic of one my favorites, the deep-fried Oreos:

Avo-tuna salad sandwich and baked sweet potato wedges (seasoned with cinnamon, chili powder, and salt):

Looks like dragonfruit.

I don't get the appeal of the Krispy Kreme burger. I love me a good burger and some fine donuts, but I like them separate. Back on topic, yeah... I agree. Call these things for they are, not what they aren't. Broccomole is not a guacamole substitute - it's a low cal cheese dip with pureed broccoli.

Looks good. Next time, you need to provide a 'money shot'. Made a simple spaghetti and baked ground turkey meatballs w/ side of steamed broccoli. Pic is of my son's plate. My portion was more: And then strawberry lemonade mini muffins:

Pork chile verde enchiladas, black beans and rice, and Mexi-slaw: Eggs over easy, grits, cheese biscuit, cantaloupe, and pork chop:

Thanks Meag. Yep, just poached in the oatmeal. I use old-fashioned rolled oats - bring water to boil, add oats, take down to simmer, wait a couple of minutes, and then finish with poaching the eggs in for the last few.

Haven't posted in awhile. Two eggs poached in oats, with chorizo, sour cream, onion: Egg white scramble with spinach, onions, blue cheese crumbles, Sriracha: More eggs poached in oats, with some ham, onions, umeboshi, soy sauce, katsuobushi and shichimi togarashi: Avo-tuna salad w/ green onions and scotch bonnet pepper…

Yeah, what ninerbuff said. (I'm still emotionally and physically hungover to say my own words.)

I'll take what the OP wrote and it does say that the items in her list CAN help you in losing weight. Sure, put enough restrictions and you'll reduce calories and lose weight. And for a select group of people, they can adhere to that list or get pretty close to it. But, I would guess, without proof, for most people, it's…

This thread is exclusionary because only the people who believe in cavemen and the people who do not can participate.

Which is good, because you probably won't get much, if any. I'm curious as to how you came up with this idea. It doesn't seem based on any 'plan' I've seen before and could have some negative effects. Also, as others have asked, why post it if you aren't seeking approval. If it works for you, then come back in a couple of…

No, but I fill a cart with artichokes, Teen Beat magazine, petroleum jelly, latex gloves, adult diapers, and a can of whipped cream, and secretly hopes that the cashier will comment.

Nah, it's correlation, not causation.

Try not to get upset over this. Instead, talk to you husband and explain what you are doing with calorie counting and how this has worked for you so far (3 lbs in 12 days). If you cannot do this, there are other issues you (and he) need to work out. It also sounds like you want to make him your excuse for failure. Or you…

If this doesn't work for you, don't slink. Come back, ask for advice and take it. Find people who've made some of the same mistakes and had the same problems, make friends with them, and use that support. Perseverance will win out eventually. Look at success stories.

No. Although not quite on point, this following quote was something I read on a sports forum I frequent. It can be applied to most forums.
