Remember your stomach can't taste it. There is now rush to swallow and shove the next bite in. Savor the food you are chewing. I tell myself this many times a day^^^^
-
Don't do this^^^ it isn't needed.
-
Are you eating back exercise cals? If you want to lose faster you have to increase your deficit by eating less.
-
That was translation issues. Dry US chips =/= UK chips(fries) because there is a large amount of water weight I wasn't accounting for. Sorry my mistake.
-
100g of chips is at least 400Kcals and that is if there is no fat in them! This means your 200g was at least 800Kcals. In your chips alone you are off by 500Kcals!
-
Thin cut or not 1g carb= 4Kcals 1g fat= 9Kcals 1g protein= 4kcals!
-
And the tuna and mayo? How much mayo do you use and how do you measure it? 200g of chips = 300Kcal??? You are eating more than you think!
-
200g of portage and milk = 200 Kcal???? Your issue is inaccurate logging...
-
The reason I asked is because a glass of warm water seems to make feel fuller, while a glass of cold water seems to quench thirst better.
-
That's the argument, they can't actually argue a unit of energy =/= a unit of energy. They have to fall back on which is more nutritious/ has more micro nutrients. Even the pic says they are equal cals!
-
I wonder if the glass of water was hot or not.
-
But he didn't specify cals, he said food, so really he is wrong.
-
Every cal that is not used is stored. Depending on how many excess cals you eat depends on how fast you gain. Once you have eaten a cal it is in your body till it is used.
-
What? Please explain why overeating would stop my body from eliminating food waist.
-
Talk to your mom, dad, caregiver, take a cooking class...... The options are numerous!
-
https://www.eatthismuch.com Put in macro and cal needs aswell as foods not to use and it will spit out meals for you.
-
Lol
-
Thanks!!
-
Fat helps with hunger, but you suggest low and nonfat items?
-
So how much extra do you need in a day? You don't need the nutrients of the fruit juice, but if it is the most comfortable way for you to hit your cal needs, why avoid them?
-
Off topic, but how do you see post history on this new format?
-
So why are you having a hard time reaching your slow bulking cals? Did I miss something?
-
Would like/rep this post, cover it in chocolate and sprinkles and make sweet love to it!
-
But, if the issue is not consuming enough cals, not nutrient deficiencies, what is the problem with "empty cals"?
-
Win!!!

There are many unnecessary systems the body will slow down while in A cal deficit. (Hair/nail growth, healing of non threatening injuries....) as you eat more the body resumes these activities which in effect increases your metabolism. This is why people can have a large maintance range. Congrats you have a higher…

If this is your first day you're fine. It is common at the start of a diet for your enthusiasm to take over. Give it a few days and you will find those cals easer to eat. If you still have difficulty in a week just add more cal dense foods like full fat dairy, avocado, nuts/nut butters, and ice cream.
-
So were you asking for help or just making a thread for the giggles?
-
Did you log it? That's a success in my book!
-
Sooo before you could eat enough in one sitting to gain weight and now you can't eat enough in a whole day to net 1200 cals gross 2000 cals? Things make even less sense, and I didn't think that was possible!
