I have a small scar on my shin from where the tread skinned me. Tell your brother to suck it up. I hopped back on (not knowing my shins were cut and one of them was bleeding) and finished off my quickie 3 miler because I was gonna leave with whatever dignity I had left, damnit.

I absentmindedly hopped onto a very fast moving treadmill because I was distracted and listening to music in my earbuds way too loud. I probably don't need to explain the catastrophe that followed.

I didn't make a post about it, but when I saw the responses to people in a similar situation, I bought a pretty rudimentary scale, and I'm now down almost 14 lbs. So. Yeah. It's solid advice.

There are so many talented tattoo artists out there, just pick another one. I wouldn't give them my business. I love when bigots raise their hand so I can avoid giving them my money or business.

I feel like I'd agree with this. After the first 2-3 months, it just became a habit.

I personally worry less about eating than I do about resting when I'm sick. That being said, lots of fluids. Chicken soup, rice, tea, etc.
-
I just cry.

Superhero is my goal as well. I already have the style asthetic going for me. Good luck! Debating going as Squirrel Girl for one of my Halloween costumes. I always do two or three different ones. :)

I'm just gonna assume OP went ahead and checked out of here. No one's telling her what she wants to hear.

Took the words right out of my mouth. "oh, boy."

Pretty sure I ate 1800 cals in one dinner at Jack in the Box just last saturday. It's amazing how easy it is.
-
Good luck with that, even at my thinnest, I still had a little bit of stubborn lower belly pooch. That's just where my chub wants to hang out forever until the end of time.

There's 12 grams of protein in my little greek yogurt cup. Wtf with these "bulky" posts.
-
An ounce of avocado is what, 45-50 cals? And that's pretty generous, too. Eat your avocado.
-
I'll drink it if there's also honey, tea, and some bourbon involved.
-
I'm actually very impatient to get to my goal weight because the idea of a recomp or even a bulk/cut sounds so exciting because MUSCLES. Love what you have, girl. Everyone else is irrelevant.

We ditched the dinner plates and just eat off salad plates at my house. Whatever fits, I eats, and I don't get up for seconds.
-
I guess I'm just jealous of how self-righteous she sounds. I wish I had the intestinal fortitude to tolerate myself being so arrogant I just assume people hate me for my presumed perfection.
-
Congratulations: You and your wife are awful.

I go through phases where I fare better in the evenings, and then some where I prefer to wake up early. In the end it doesn't matter, the best time is any time you actually do it.

I had a coworker show hers off to me and then was fussing with it all afternoon. Apparently it was hurting her back.

I always love catching up with my mother (who is successfully losing weight, and steadily so) who works with women who just LOVE those scams. They do the herbalife, they do 'water fasts' and they just had a guy come in and sell them these waist trainers. They still all bring in their dozens of krispy kremes and cinnabuns…
-
I only "snack" before or after a workout if it's going to be intense and longer than an hour.
-
Single and quite content, thank you.
-
I wasn't confused in the way you think I was.
-
whuh?
-
but I'm still at work, can't it wait?
-
I don't think I gain, but the scale definitely doesn't budge until afterward. I seem to always count on some kind of woosh directly afterward.
-
I used to think these fad diets and the people who went after them were hilarious, nowadays it just bums me the hell out.

Losing weight is just eating at a deficit. Workouts and running are about fitness. After a run, I like to stretch and feel like a badass.
