I have both but find the treadmill is favored over the bike.

I tried Almased which is totally natural and no artificial sugars, etc. for a week and lost 5.5 lbs. after being on a long plateau. I still have two cannisters left and will just use it as a replacement meal occasionally just to use it up cause it's very expensive and I don't want to throw it out. I was excited to lose…

Amazing. Well done. You look fantastic. How did you do it?

Hi. I don't believe in pills or anything artificial that is why I tried the Almased shake. It's all natural made with soy, honey and yogurt. No artificial sweeteners for me! I'm on my third day and have lost 5.5 lbs. This is after being on a plateau for over 6 months even though I was eating properly and exercising. I only…

Thank you for your advice. I was at a plateau for more than 6 months even though I was eating properly and exercising. Out of frustration I actually gained weight after throwing in the towel for about 2 months. I just wanted to try the shake for two weeks to see if it would start up weight loss again. So far I have lost…

I'm using it to replace 2 meals a day and have lost 4.6 lbs in 2 days. I think I'll continue using it at least until I use up the three containers I purchased. Then go back to eating real food (unprocessed) in limited quantities because the shake is quite expensive.

After one day and two shakes I'm down 3.1 lbs. That's unbelievable to me since it took me six weeks to lose 3 lbs. on Weight Watchers. I do have a slight headache though (low sugar?) probably.

My BMR is 1500 and my nutritionist says I should be netting 1500 calories to lose weight which means I have to eat back the calories burned during exercise.

Plain fat free greek yogurt with fresh fruit with almonds sometimes. you can also make this a smoothie for on the go by adding a little skim milk and omitting the nuts.

Call it what you want but eliminating processed foods is the best thing you can do for yourself. Fresh fruits/veggies, lean protein, nuts is the healthy way to eat. I recently eliminated all manmade carbs and have busted my 6 month plateau. just remember if you can't hunt it, pick it, gather it you shouldn't eat it. It…

Congratulations! You look great and are an inspiration to all. Well done.

You are eating healthy and that's what really matters. Fresh fruits and veggies, lean protein, yogurt- All good. Don't worry if it's boring as long as it stays healthy and works for you. I say no problem.

I read this book and was truly disgusted with the girl Ms. Swan?? I wanted to shake her and tell her to wake up. Tell the *kitten* boyfriend to get lost. I didn't like the storyline at all.

There's no need to be concerned with sugar from fruit. It's natural sugar and fruit is full of antioxidants. It's the added sugar in food that causes metabolic mayhem. Unfortunately, MFP does not distinguish between natural sugars and added sugars. 2-3 pieces of fruit daily is a good thing. It's the soda, candy, cakes,…

It's not cheese at all and needs no refrigeration which to me says it's full of preservatives. I don't think it does a body good. Just my opinion.

Congratulations! That is an amazing accomplishment. You are an inspiration to all! :)

Sorry to tell you but I have found both MFP and the gym machines wrong on calorie amounts burned. (They are both inflated). I learned this after purchasing my Polar FT4 heart rate monitor. Now whenever I workout I wear the monitor for a true calories burned. It's worth the investment to purchase one.

An amazing transformation. Well done!

My nutritionist told me I wasn't eating enough calories because I burn between 500-700 during workouts which left me with a net off 700 calories per day. I went to her because I couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing anymore and she said to eat the calories burned during exercise; hence eating more for me. I just started…

I track my calories with a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor and when compared to MFP (in the past) they were always to high with calories burned. Maybe they are correcting the errors. Plus they don't take into consideraton sex, age, weight.

Newman's Own Lite Raspberry and Walnut dressing. Yummy. His Sesame ginger is also good for and Asian tasting flavor and less calories that the raspberry walnut.

I have the same problem! I got tired of being frustrated over this and am seeing a nutritionist at my gym this evening for my initial appointment. This is my last hope to finally see if I can shake it up. I even went vegetarian for two months and that didn't help either. My doctor ordered metabolic tests and everything came…

I love how he explains things and the visuals he uses. He is Hollywood though. I would like to know where he finds the time to be a brilliant surgeon.

I will friend you. I'm 52 on the 28th and have been trying to lose 50 lbs. for awhile now. Decided to make an appointment with a nutritionist at the gym. It's the only thing left to try. Hope I have some success with it. I initially was losing consistently and then came to a screeching halt since menopause started a year…

You can say the same for the calories burned with various exercises. For example one hour of elliptical training is listed as something like 600 calories burned whereas when I wear my heart rate monitor I actually only burn around 300 calories. For those who eat their exercise calories this could be a problem. Just saying

I agree with you on the imitation meat. Exactly how I feel about it.

I switched to vegetarian eating about a month ago although I was never a big meat eater anyway. My diet consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, greens and beans, nuts (in small quantities), plain fat free greek yogurt, Wegmans shredded wheat cereal (no sugar added),and whole grains like brown rice, wheatberries, quinoa,…
