This is my favorite post-workout shake because I workout at night. The whey will replenish my muscles right away and the cottage cheese is a slowly digesting protein that will keep replenishing my muscles throughout the night. 6 oz skim milk 1/2 banana 1/4 cup low-fat cottage cheese 1 Tbsp reduced-fat natural peanut butter…

First - Open Your Diary Second - You don't need shakeology, I lost 45 lbs with TF using store bought whey protein. Third - How many calories are you eating? Are you eating enough calories to fuel your body? http://www.teambeachbody.com/eat-smart/nutrition-tools/caloric-needs

In the first month I think some light exercise, like a light walk, is ok. In the 2nd month (I'm on my last week) I needed the rest day for my sore arms and abs. I didn't do any further exercises. Personally, I got horribly bored with 6 days of Cardio Core & Balance so I took 4 days off. I wouldn't supplement but maybe find…

Flexibility - Yoga Strength - anything from JM (Jillian Michaels' programs) to New Rules of Lifting for Women (gym or home) or Jamie Eason LiveFit Trainer (best for gyms or at home gyms). You can do Insanity, I've noticed an increase in my body weight strength, Turbo Fire/Jam or JM for both F&S, P90X, it's all up to what…

The less you have to lose the harder it gets - http://beachbodycoach.com/esuite/home/Smallville?bctid=28234915001 (I have absolutely no affiliation with that BB Coach, I just can't find that video without his coach info) Are you following the calorie requirements from the nutrition guide or on the BB site? I didn't see any…

I am planning on doing single legged dead lifts & squats because I have been banned form buying anymore weights, I must use the Gold's Gym XR 45 DH bought me.
-
I have a few days left but after bumping up my cals to 2150 (like the BB calculator suggested) and I dropped 3 lbs since that post.

IMO, if it fits into your macros, no. But it's not going to replenish your muscles. I would switch to 1 cup of 1% milk and 1 serving of chocolate syrup instead or a protein shake with chocolate whey protein powder.

I prefer an eliptical. What ever you do, check out Craigslist.org first! All of the New Year Resolution-ers are selling the equipment they never used.

Have you lost any inches? BF % decreased? I started Insanity and in the first month put on 5 lbs, lost 4% BF, 4 inches and a pant size. My muscles were still in the repair stages (aka, retaining water). It sounds you like may be under estimating your activity. I wouldn't consider roller skating and more as 'light', more so…

You need the carbs for energy, especially in the 2nd month. The protein is high so that your body doesn't use your muscles for fuel when it runs out of glycogen (carbs). The most important thing (IMO) is to eat at least 35% carbs, 1gm of protein per LBM or lb of weight, and no more than 30% fat if they are mainly healthy…

Blend it into a smoothie with some frozen fruit (maybe some protein powder too) and fruit juice.

Neither - I use whey protein powder and blend in frozen fruit, berries, peanut butter, cottage cheese, or 100% fruit juice blends.

http://www.skinnytaste.com/search/label/Smoothies%20and%20Shakes I like them for getting my fruits & veg, plus I usually add whey/protein to them.

Not all fats are created equal. Read up on the different types of fats and why you do and don't need them.

Raw food like fruit & veg are as is. Meats, I go with 4 oz after it's cooked. But my bacon is usually per slice, 2 slices being about 90 calories/1 serving size. Dry goods, I go off what's on the box/bag. Worse comes to worst, I try not to eat a portion size larger than my closed fist.

Check out the spreadsheet in this group to help you figure out how much you should eat: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/7965-in-place-of-a-road-map And I echo the lift heavy comments, weight training is best.

Once you see the pounds come off you find yourself motivated to keep going. I cut way way back, from nightly to once a week. I have a beer once a week, if we go out I'll have 2 cocktails, but it's in moderation. I'm also at the stage of enjoying the drink and company, not pounding them back like I did years ago.

I'm at 45/30/25, after trial and error it's what works for me. I usually go over on protein, sometimes on fats too, but for my exercise program (Insanity) it keeps me fueled so I can push myself. I make an effort to come close to hitting my carbs & protein but I'd rather hit my calorie goal of 2100.

New Rules of Lifting for Women. It's a great book and a fun read.

Weight loss is a dance. You have to find the right combination of calories in & out. I have not started NROL yet, I want to finish the last 2 weeks of Insanity first. When I eat less than 1900 I hold onto my weight. But when I upped my cals to 2200 I dropped 3 lbs in a week. Plus I don't have much to lose, 15, maybe 20 lbs…

I want to eat the same amount each day, workout or rest days. So I do TDEE - 20%. It's easier for me because I am a creature of habit, I can eat the same things day in & out because they fit my macros so well. The only thing I really change are my post workout drinks and dinners. Snacks and breakfast usually never change…

I shower after I work out so I don't worry about removing my make up. Plus I workout at night so it's not like I put the make up on to workout, I'm just not going to wash up before sweating and then washing up again.
-
Probably. You have a higher chance if you lose weight fast. I'm 5'5", started at 236 and I lost the most in my breasts (they sag quite a bit) and when I do pushups I do have sagging stomach skin (plus I've given birth twice which is a major factor). Just take things nice & slow and moisturize. Otherwise best of luck!

I am finishing Insanity then moving on to New Rules of Lifting for Women. Make sure you have a range of exercise programs on DVD that you like and periodically check Craigslist.org for equipment for sale. New Year Resolution equipment will be posted soon.

I burned 477 with Max Plyo, Im 5'5", 152.

I indulge once a week in an IPA or homebrew. It's all in moderation.
