Ok Ladies, it's Jan 15th...we are half-way through the month!! How is everyone doing on their goals? I weighed in this morning at 209.6 (FINALLY broke that 210 mark-whoohoo!), but I've still got another 3-4 lbs to lose before I make my Jan goal. We can do this!!!

I did that diet for my first month. Lost almost 5 lbs in my first week, and then not much after that. I honestly think it was a good start for me just to get my mind thinking differenlty about my sugar intake, but it's definitely not something you can maintain for a healthy diet. I love anything Nike...Shox are by far my fav but they are expensive. I have a very high arch and they are the only shoe that I have plenty of support in. I also own a pair of Adidas, but when I wear them for running (only b/c they match what I'm wearing-haha) I always end up with cramps in my feet.

Normally I weigh myself everyday. I know there are fluctuations so I don't freak out if there is a gain of anything under a pound. But is really is a motivation to me when I see the scale lower each morning...if only by .1lbs and it helps me keep on track if I end up seeing a slight gain. Just a way that I like to keep…

I use a food scale too and it is usually before the food is cooked, as I normally enter in each ingredient in my food log in it's raw form.

I normally watch calories and sugar...sodium has never been a huge problem for me, but it's the sugar that causes me problems!! It seems like I am always over on that! And the days that I can keep it super low are the days that I will lose the most weight....everyone's body is different for sure:)
