  • You are welcome to add me if you like. :) I used to be the same as you I would log for a day or two then quit. But this time around I have found it very helpful to come to the boards daily they give me inspiration to keep up. I still have a long way to go but take it one step at a time. You got this.
  • Adding healthy fats to each of my meals has helped me to stay full and I no longer have the desire to snack after dinner. :) Good luck on your journeys you got this. If anyone needs a friend feel free to add me. Here everyday that is how I stay motivated. The boards / friends on this site help to support and keep me…
  • You have been added. :)
  • MFP is one of the best tools I have used and I have tried about everything out there. I love the support and motivations from these boards. Take it one day at a time don't let a slip up derail you everyday is a fresh start remember that. I used to get frustrated if I gave in and ate something I felt was "bad" on this plan…
  • Sorry to hear you were sick. Glad you are feeling better. Welcome to the journey. Good luck you can do this. :)
  • Wow thats great do you have any pics?
  • You look amazing thanks for the inspiration. :)
  • Just checking in. I have done 30minutes daily since the 1st of Sept. (broken down in segments at times) My sciatica from herniated disc flared since walking more but hopefully I will get answers where we are going after new MRI on the 25th. I hope everyone else is doing well. :)
  • When I get to this point I plan to give away donate whatever is to large. I am apple shaped though so I have a long way to go before I am down a size. Some of my clothing starting to get loose around my waist. Most of my clothes getting baggie in the legs and bottom areas (yeah) but not enough to go down a size yet.
  • I love emeals paleo plan as long as I stay on plan I am losing well. The recipes are easy to prepare I have a itemized shopping list. Most of the meals are really good.
  • Wow you look amazing. Congrats on the reward for all of your hard work. What kind of training did you use? What exercises and equipment? I would love to look half as great as you do when I am finished. I do have a back injury right now so I am limited to what I can do now. But I am walking as much as sciatica allows.…
  • I eat 1390 calories except days I walk a lot then I eat more but net 1390 calories on those days. I don't stay hungry however I try not to eat a lot of processed foods most days of the week. I eat a lot of fat though and it helps keep me full. Coconut oil and grass fed butter mostly. My coffee in the morning has a cup of…
  • Doing a happy dance right now. :) I went to Michigan once for a event and people looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they had grits. (Then they would say we have oatmeal). I am seeing grass fed butter, salt, pepper and bacon for breakfast for me tomorrow. I agree about the gravy though.
  • Great work by the way.
  • Using my fit bit for little over a week trying to get in 10000 steps a day. Hitting most days of the week, however I have a herniated disc with sciatica that I am trying to get healed. But my sciatica is flared really bad I was up longer Sunday than I could handle apparently so my last two days have been rest days with…
  • Keep up the great work. You look amazing by the way I only hope I can get to your size and look as good. :)
  • You look great. I hope to have lost as much as you in around same amount of time. I will then be about a quarter of my way to goal. :) You are a inspiration.
  • All of you can add me if you like as well. Trying to lose 120lbs here. Started off good with paleo/clean eating type of diet, Labor day weekend kind of derailed me. Now I am back to paleo/clean eating. Feeling gross eating junk this time I had so much more energy, better mood and sleep when not eating poorly. Good luck on…
  • 40 Here and I need to lose around 120lbs have lost 13lbs so far. Started this journey faithfully again on August 5th. Trying hard to get healthy I have needed to lose weight for around last 20 years. We can do this add me to your friends list if you like. (This is for anyone on the board looking for more friends to, never…
  • I agree it happens to all of us I am in the same boat. I let Labor day holiday cheat, lead to a whole holiday weekend of cheating. I usually allow myself whatever I want to eat once a week but since Labor day it is hard for me to get back on my paleo inspired plan. I have been staying under calorie goal most days but I…
  • Congrats on the bundles of joy and on your commitments to being healthy during and after your pregnancies. :) I wish I had MFP 20 years ago during my first pregnancy (gained 90lbs due to a car wreck causing broken ankle that left me immobile and I ate a lot because of it.) never got back to pre-pregnancy weight. That is…
  • I can't wait to go on a shopping spree where I find clothes that I like, that look good on me and make me feel confident again. Used to love shopping even if I didn't buy anything because I could pull anything off the rack and try it on. Now I have to shop at plus size stores where they make all the clothes look cute on…
  • You all look amazing congrats on your journeys to this point. Can't wait to be able to post before and after pics.
  • I am so glad I found this post. I have Hashimoto's I was diagnosed 20 or so years ago. Synthroid keeps my levels in normal range. I am lactose intolerant and had read a article stating that autoimmune disease can be linked to gluten intolerance as well. I started a paleo diet just to try to lose weight but I feel so much…
  • Always looking for friends to help motivate and support add me if you would like. :)
  • Same boat here. 40 this year. I used to be fit in early twenties but became pregnant with first child, had a car accident and spent most of pregnancy in a cast with limited mobility (90lb almost weight gain yikes!!!) Then life with new baby, poor eating habits, second child, and of course nursing school at 30 (60lbs gained…
  • I have a lot to lose so if you want to add me feel free. Good luck on your journey. I find the support on here helps to motivate you. You can do this.
