It also sounds like you are gaining muscle if your mid-section is more toned. It may take another couple of weeks before the pounds start dropping but if you are eating right and exercising then you should see results. But maybe you should eat more calories since you are doing intense exercises!

They are very good for you but just make sure you make room for them in your calorie count for the day.

I was weighing everyday but it fluctuates too much. So I have started doing it Sunday mornings but I think I will only do every two weeks now. It will be hard not to jump on but I need to try and not do it so often.

My sister does the Insanity workout and she is trying to get me to do it. I told her when I got down to 200lbs I would start it. She only weighs 133lbs so it's easier for her. But I know if I could start one of those programs I would see quicker results! They are just so intense!

I was wondering this too! I wanted to start Insanity bc my sister has been doing it for a year and won't shut up about it. I told her I would start it once I got to 200lbs. Well I only have 15lbs to go but I am scared I won't be able to do it and get discouraged.

I mostly do walking/jogging on my treadmill on a highlevel incline, crunches and lifting a little weights for upper body strengh (trying to lose the flabbing arms:happy: )

I gave up caffeine for a while and after the headaches, dizziness and feeling like crap I felt much better. I now only drink 1 Diet Dr. Pepper twice a week. I came to the conclusion that I can still have it but not the excess where I am dependent on it.

couldn't have said it better myself! You do need to do something to shake up your body every now and then. I did that a couple months ago and didn't lose anything for a little while but I didn't gain either. Then I went back to watching everything very closely and lost 25 additional lbs in 7 weeks!

I exercise 6 days a week for 50 to 60 mins each day. I log my calories burned based on my treadmill. I have been using the same treadmill for over a year and have lost 82lbs. I agree with working out 6 days a week. I have been doing that for the past 6 weeks and have lost 3 inches in my waist and 25lbs! Just being on here and logging my info has helped tremendously!

lol awesome, love the "winter coat!" But that's true you are likely not gaining any weight over the weekend. The "bad" foods you are consuming are probably just causing you to retain fluid or since you don't go to the bathroom then it would show you have gained. I can burn 700 in 70 mins on my treadmill but i am on a level 8 incline going uphill the whole time. is there a way to recalibrate it?
