  • Absolutely stunning! Your hard work has paid off and it shows! Excellent job! :flowerforyou:
  • Yesterday was suppose to be my 3rd day but I woke up with the worst sore throat so I planned on doing an evening workout which I skipped because I was feeling worse. A dose of nyquil and an early bedtime seemed to help a little so I'll be doing my day 3 tonight followed by the treadmill. How is everyone doing?
  • UGH These were tough! I tore my quad muscle a few years ago but really haven't had much problems with it unless I'm sprinting but I still pay close attention to it when I'm doing funky moves, this seemed to be hard but ok so I powered through. I woke up at 5 am with a burning in my left quad (same one I tore) and had to…
  • Great job!!! I can completely relate! I have to be distracted while doing any cardio machine or the time drags!
  • This is so good to know!!! I start week 3 tonight and I hoped I'd like it better than week 2. I'm not sure what it was but I had to keep telling myself "it's only 20 mintues and 6 days, 5 days.." and I usually look forward to my workouts!
  • I'm down just over a half of pound. Still creeping along but in the right direction. I upped my calories because I've upped my workouts and I think I'm not eating enough because I bounce up and down all week long, which is normal but I'm tired and that's not normal! We'll see how it turns out next Friday! Have a wonderful…
  • Week 2 Day 5 completed this morning. I upped my weights and holy cow, I thought my heart was going to beat out of my chest! Sweat was dripping off my face. I love it! But I'm still wanting to just move on! :) Great job everyone! This is a very hard workout!
  • Absolutely NOT usual! Someone should have definitely asked you questions and set up a plan for you even if you didn’t hire them to train you. Doesn’t sound like they care about health and fitness. I’d ask for another “induction” and a plan. They should also walk you through your plan and show you how to do each exercise…
  • I finished day 3 of workout 2 this morning. I had planned on doing it last night but the weather was so nice I ran bleachers with my daughter instead. I just want to get my week in so I can move on. I'll probably be saying this until it's over! LOL I like the changes in my body so I shouldn't complain too much!
  • I had a good weekend. Nice, relaxing Mother's Day. I went to a baby shower on Saturday and managed to stay completely away from the Cupcake tree and snack table so I was proud of myself, however, when picking up some chocolate covered strawberries for Mom, I had them add a couple in for me! Oh.. SO VERY GOOD!!! And then a…
  • Tonight will be my day 3 on workout 2. the Crow push ups are going to be the death of me. I also find the palms of my hands feel bruised from going renegade rows, I'll try using wash cloths for padding when I get to that exercise to see if that helps.
  • Me too! I'm having a Mother's Day lunch with my kids and a huge Italian dinner at my mom's for all of the Mother's in the family and I'm already having panic attacks! LOL Time to pull out the extra willpower!!!
  • I'm down not quite a half of a pound, I'll take it!
  • Completed week 1 this morning! Now for week 2, let the Rippin' begin!!!
  • Ahhh I've found my thread!!! LOL I will be 46 in August and have cleaned up my diet big time! Around 44-1/2 yrs old I noticed my body changing, and not for the better. I've always been active and have lifted for years, my son calls me the cardio queen because my endurance level is through the roof. Still my body was…
  • YES! Mule is 100% correct. I've been lifting for years, very heavy (former competitive power lifter) and I have NEVER had huge, buldging muscles.AND I'd like to have a little more than the average worman, it's just extremely hard for a woman to build. Lots of time, consistancy and diet.
  • Day 4 for me. I planned on taking Monday's off but decided to rest yestersay my back was a little sore from the squat/overhead press. I've always had problems with standing overhead press no matter what situation so I do them sitting. I'm going to have to figure out how to tweak this workout a little. But feeling like a…
  • I'm doing mine after work tonight. Thanks ladies, I'm totally jazzed to do this after reading your posts (even though it's 90 degrees today)!
  • I'm starting tomorrow. I finished the 30-day shred, other than missing the 3 days I pretty much did 7 days a week. I'm thinking along the lines with you Jade, maybe just 6 days just to take a rest day. I'm excited. I've noticed a huge difference in my strength and I know I've lost inches. I didn't actually measure but I'm…
  • I'm done! Can't believe I made it! Excellent work everyone! Woo Hoo! Now on to Ripped in 30! I haven't even looked at this DVD so I have no idea what I'm in for in the morning but here we all go!
  • Good for you!! Level 3 leaves me breathless! I can get through it all but I can tell my body is working hard, which is a good thing! But this morning was extremely tough for me. I woke up exhausted, how does that even happen after a good nights sleep? I have a lot going on so it's probably mental! I'm going away for the…

  • I'm in. I bought the DVD last night at Target, $9.19 if anyone needs to pick on up!
  • Level 3 Day 2 completed this morning! I agree, I like level 3 a lot. The traveling push ups, not so much, but the rest is great. I'm dripping sweat when it's over and my heart feels like it's going to pound out of my chest! I like that, proof Im working my butt off! Good job everyone!
  • I'm down .8lb that's almost a pound, I'll take it!
  • I just didn't have it in me this morning so I'll be shredding after work which will be good because then I can go straight to the treadmill and kill two birds with one stone at the same time. It's my 7th day of Level 2.
  • Great read. I can relate to the "stop guessing." I was so bad at "oh that looks about right" so one day when I was going through a box my son left at my house, I found his food scale and decided to put it to use. Boy did things change! I also started counting out a serving size of popcorn chips and spoon size shredded…
  • This sounds like an excellent plan. Is anyone else interested in starting a "RIpped in 30" Support Group challenge in May? I'm in for sure!
  • If there's paid, see a dr. If not, I take a Glucosamine supplement twice a day to keep my joints lubricated. My son is a personal trainer and recommended it to me since you can literally hear my knee's crackling from a distance. But I dont' have any pain. It takes the supplement time to work, we're talking weeks, and…
  • YES!!! My shoulders are on fire!!! I'm on day 6 of level 2 and I'm counting down the days to Level 3... I don't know why, I'll probably be thinking she's definitely trying to kill me by then!
  • Is there any pain?
