Oh I am going to keep going, I love a good challenge! Thanks for the answers, I took before pics so I can't wait to be taking after pics. It's my lower back around my waist I really hope to change.

Now why didn't I think of that! Brilliant - some samples are on their way! :)

5'2 here feel free to add me :)

The only times I use slimfast or the Tesco equivalent is when I'm either poorly and need a sugar/vitamin boost, or if I'm having a blood test - again for the sugar lol. The sugar level is so high I wouldn't want them often. I'm looking for actual whey protein samples :)

I was counting tea with milk at about 45 calories with semi-skimmed! I have been drinking more coffee lately and taking it black otherwise it was really adding up. Although I've recently discovered skimmed milk and like it just as much as semi-skimmed which is great. Anyway, as for logging, there is already tea/coffee with…

Let us know how you get on :)

How lovely that it seemed easier - my day 2 was harder because I was a bit sore lol. Maybe having your daughter there made it more fun. After zumba I was so so sore. I put everything into the session and was walking like a 90 year old when I got out of the bath! Not so bad this morning so DVD on in a bit.

Oh my word!
-
Well it was a worthy post lol.
-
Yeah it is IF it's done at high intensity. For example, I was rushing around like a crazy lady getting the house clean before my friend came. I had an hour and did lots of sweeping, mopping and hoovering as well as floor cleaning on my hands and knees. I also rushed to get the bathroom cleaned (again, including the floor)…

I was inspired by this post http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/313543-i-was-scared-to-up-my-calories-too-until If I see any increase at all I know I wont be able to stick to it though.

What a great idea. I should do this too. I'm stuck without losing and have been for about 3-4 really. The odd movement on the scale but nothing much!
-
Oh I'm using 1.5kg weights which is about 3.3lb I think.
-
Yay I did day two! Got up at 7 hoping my daughter would wake around 8, but I was only 10 mins into it when she woke up so I had to pause a few times - she is almost three, found some toys to use as weights and pretended to copy me. :) Felt hard on my arms again, and the top of thigh just below my bum! I get a tired/achy…

This is my preferred bike at the gym, I log it as a regular exercise bike.

I'm a member of a fantastic running web site, Runners Forum. No-one will shoot you down in flames if you aren't running at least 50 miles per week or go and have a curry on a weekend! :)

Properly gait analysed fitted running shoes. A must have. Followed by wicking gear! A garmin would be up there if I had the pennies, as I hear the once you have one you wonder why you didn't sooner!
-
I can see how that's tough lol. Sometimes I have to get up early to fit a run in, and that's 5:45. Never 5!
-
Just taken some before photos which I'm going to keep locked up until this is over!
-
I never understood how people can grip tins well enough to use! I tried it once and couldn't get my hand around it enough lol.
-
Ooh good luck with the no interruptions thing! I have a 2 1/2 year old so I don't know how I'm going to do it when she's around. Hopefully she will be good and not demand Mickey Mouse or Dora instead for 20 minutes!!
-
This is very promising :) Gets easier then?
-
Well done! I wasn't expecting easy lol. It was okay, I did it right after a 2.5 mile run so felt it in some parts of my legs more than I may have otherwise. My legs are quite strong but my arms are rubbish! I used 1.5 kg weights (think it's about 3lb) and it hurt towards the end of the arm ones! My stomach is rubbish too.…
-
Mind you, occasionally I'll have a happy meal for a treat lol, I would rather have just chips at that time! ;)
-
This is good for us! Our daughter is so tiny she's on a very high-cal diet and eats tiny portions - she won't eat more than 5 chips so now she can enjoy the apple (which will always get eaten!).
-
Wow that sounds like work! Can't wait to see your results :)
-
Wowzers! I am hoping to start this DVD soon and would LOVE to see results like yours in my back - I am 130lb and 5'2 - lots of it hangs around in my back area and it really drives me mad lol. Can't wait to get started now! You look amazing, I can't believe the difference to your stomach. Go you!
-
These posts amaze me. Well done, you look brilliant and really radiant. An inspiration indeed.
-
Wow what an amazing life change - this is way more than losing weight for you, but you do look amazing! Good work now keep it up!

Ecxellent thank you all. I too started running with c25k and love it, such a brilliant programme, well done Mary for completing it. It's good to hear the aches and pains aren't all so bad. On Amazon people were reporting being almost unable to move for days! I hope I have a 'not too bad' fitness level which will help. I'll…
