Yep...I figure it'll take me about 3 years to attain a weight and fitness level I'm comfortable with and then the rest of my life to maintain it. No rush :-)

Attaining and maintaining a healthy weight isn't about stressing out over doing it as quickly as possible...it's about changing your lifestyle, for the rest of your life...for decades. So relax, don't break yourself, and enjoy the changes :-)

If you eat hot dogs and frozen meals daily, you'd better start tracking your sodium...and drink lots of water to go with it.

I eat a half cup of oatmeal every morning at work...plain oatmeal with a couple spoonfulls of brown sugar and some cinnamon is less than 200 calories.

I love peanut butter...but I make my own walnut butter at home as a healthier replacement, where I can control what goes in it :-) It's so simple if you have a food processor...just take 3-4 cups of walnut halves & pieces (Whole Foods conveniently sells a 4 cup package of these), process on high speed for about a minute,…

@McFatterton: I've tried hummus before, I don't particularly like its texture. And this cup of yogurt is my only daily source of dairy, I feel like I should keep some dairy in my diet.

Try some whole wheat toast with your omelet, or a whole wheat hamburger bun with your burger patty...looks like you're skimping on whole grains.
