Obsessed... Meal planning, shopping for food, reading about food and nutrition... and then more reading. Weights twice a day and cardio every day. If I am time poor I have 4 routines I can hack out to keep some inner calm. Name and address withheld.

I often see a WTG!!! on VERY bad diets. Diets so high in sodium they will eventually kill or diets without fibre or protein. I am yet to see a change for the better in most of my friends diets because of the "high five comment sheep". It's the reason I no longer comment on diets.

I still feel sick before a high intensity resistance session... It's been a year and I haven't adapted to "heavy lift days"... they hurt! Cardio on the other hand delivers a high.

If lunges and squats are painful, try sitting on a chair, put our arms straight out at the shouldes and stand up, do 12 reps x 3 sets, that will be difficult and won't put too much stress on the knees. Unfortunately there is only one person who can make you accountable for your health. There is no trick to it, it has to become part of your life, not something that comes and goes. You have to make time for it every day until it's an automatic process. If you don't it can be left out and neglected.
