Don't be afraid of cardio. It will help you go many rounds. Don't be afraid of weights, it will make you hard and safe. Don't be afraid of the bags, hit them with all you got, and train with gusto. And never, NEVER be afraid of your opponent. Pj

Hey, I was just wondering, should I be eating more, or less, sugar? It's fat free, you know, so it has to be healthy, right? Right now, I use pure cane sugar to keep my carbs up, and to balance my glucose when I get hypoglycemic. ++ducking thrown objects++ Okay, j/k. I now return you to your regular programming. ;-) Pj

I want to be like you when I grow up, seriously! \m/ Rock on, Granny! \m/ Pj

Isn't that the definition of a casserole? Dang, I've been doing it wrong! :D Pj

5FDP!! They're awesome, particularly live! Last time I said "Holy Crap" about a song was probably "Foxtrot" by Bloodhouse Gang. Or perhaps "Drips" by Eminem. Heck, the whole Encore album by Eminem... But there are Marilyn Manson covers of Madonna's "Like A Virgin" and AC\DC's "Highway to Hell" that would definitely qualify…

Bourbon. And Indian food. Not necessarily in the same setting, either. But one taste of either, and it's a caloric nightmare. If I had my diary open for public viewing, you would see the nightmare that was yesterday's lunch and the subsequent starvation I endured the rest of the day as a result. All without bourbon. Mmm...…

I thought I found something in my bellybutton, but it turned out to be my finger. Pj

And as I recently discovered, use a word that is common in your part of the world, but other uptight people may find offensive, and make sure that this entire thread gets locked, so that you are unable to respond to inform and enlighten them that the selfsame word you used IS NOT A PROFANITY.…

I've noticed several things - I started having terribly uncomfortable shaves (I shave my face and my head), and not just razor burn, but actual nicks and cuts. NEVER have I had that problem. Turns out, I have entirely new contours on my face, including an actual JAWLINE, and I hadn't changed the pattern and routine I have…

Yum! Love quinoa, always looking for something original to do with it. And this definitely qualifies! Pj

Slightly off topic, but I bet you could do this with zucchini, too! Rollups may be hard unless you had HUGE zuc, but a lazagne would be dang tasty, I'd think. Okay, we now return you to your regularly scheduled eggplant. Pj

A7X was here at EdgeFest this year, along with Skillet, Stone Sour, Three Days Grace, Seether, Theory Of A Deadman, Sevendust, Helmet, Halestorm, My Darkest Days and Art Of Dying. And while they were definitely good, my favorite bands were Skillet . Sevendust, and Stone Sour, with an honest nod Boy Howdy to Seether. Of…

All...at the same... TIME...???? ++Dull wet thudd while Piper Jon' s head explodes++ Man, saw Stone Sour just last summer here, doesn't Corey Taylor put on just a h*ll of a good show, regardless of whether he's with Slipknot or Stone Sour? He TOTALLY connects with his audience, and I always appreciate that. Then there's…

Oh yeah, AC/DC!! Saw them for the first time ever in my life, here, just a couple years ago. The boys, they're looking older, but man, Angus still can play a 20 minute shred solo like it's no body's business! And any time they play Thunderstruck or For Those About to Rock on the radio, I have to pull over if I'm driving.…

So, Alice in Chains. Their new album, minus Layne Staley (RIP)... Does anyone else still hear Layne in the background??? Other AiC fans I know have said the same but they are all IRL, wonder if it's just an Arkansas thing... Pj

I have not heard enough Lamb of God to be able to speak of them intelligently, but everything I've heard, I have definitely liked. They played here several months ago, and I was unable to attend due to work. :( LoG is on my list of "Get these, soon!"

OMG, Rammstein!! DU HAST! (I do?) My gf got to see Apocalyptica when they were here, and went with a friend who at the time was a photog for a local paper. She got frickin PRESS PASS access! I am STILL so jealous! But she didn't get to mosh with dood from Disturbed, so there. And we both got to see Roger Waters perform The…

I have an odd conundrum in respone. I don't really like my body that much, generally I think I'm too big. (I'm not 320 pounds any more, but I'm still no dainty flower) That said: I really like being a big guy! (I'm 6'1", and built like a big ol linebacker) So, there you go. I like my big ol body, while not really liking my…

Maybe the chunks of beef? I'm just sayin...

Hey, anyone tune in to Full Metal Jackie on the radio? Girl was playing Lamb of God the other night! And then followed with some Misfits, of all things! MISFITS! Gives me faith in humanity, it does. Oh, and I am a serious old school metal head too, particularly Metallica (anything from And Justice for All, and…

Yeah, what ever happened with System of A Down? I saw them in Dallas a few years ago, and they rawked my FACE OFF. And then phtthhzz, nothing. Pj

Here's why I love threads like this. I get to hear about bands I've never experienced, and go looking for their stuff. Weedeater? Scissorfight? OMG, I can't wait to start the search for new (for me) music! Ever hear Celldweller? Man! I'm not sure about the new Mastodon, though, I really like the old Mastodon. Still, I like…
