Discipline is also key. 😉 My motivation is my kids and the wake up call I had, being diagnosed with WPW syndrome. Ever since I started back on this journey in December last year, I couldn’t stop. I guess you can call it an obsession, in a good sense though.

I’ve sent you a friend request. I too, was the same way before starting the gym life, extremely anxious and self conscious. I was on the heavy side too. But since I’ve started, I can’t get enough of the gym and also managed to lose weight and make some gains 💪🏻

That's an awesome mindset you have there. I too, have experienced too much BS on here that I've started to weed out the "fake" ones from my friends list. I wouldn't mind having like-minded friends here. My main goal is to get those GAINS and being stronger too.

I've just recently decided to stick with recomping. I was doing it for 8 months. I did lose quite a bit of body fat, but not without the help of intense cardio 2 - 3 times a week (I'm doing it twice a week now). I've learned to not pay too much attention to the numbers on the scale, but with the amount of inches lost.

I’ll see if I can find that here where I’m from. Under Armour had some good quality sports bras designed for high intensity workouts that fit nice and snug, but they can be pretty expensive. Since I started weight lifting, I’ve noticed my chest size is decreasing, which means I have to buy new sports bras lol. I ain’t…
