Put your setting at a 2 pound loss per week. Stay under your calorie goal. Get a food scale to ensure you're accurately logging. Workout and "eat back your exercise calories", but make sure you don't over estimate how many cals you burned. Done. Or, don't rush it. Put your setting at a 1 pound per week loss and be patient.

It works better than WW if you set everything up correctly and utilize the proper tools (mainly a food scale IMO).

They are consuming less calories (or just as many), as they burn in a day. You need to increase your activity level. Maybe if you want to have a night of drinking, go on a long *kitten* hike that day, or the following. Burn more = consume more.

Use a food scale when logging to ensure accuracy. Make sure you aren't over estimating your exercise calories.

Just eat at maintenance numbers for today. You won't gain, and you'll get a few hundred more calories to eat.
