  • @2013allen - Your progress is amazing!! Great job!
  • Awesome work!!! Love this post because I am trying to do it the same way. I gave myself a goal to track everyday for one year with the goal of a 50 pound weightloss. I have been good in the past about losing weight but then I stop dieting and gain it all back (and then some). This time I decided to just do it slow have a…
  • Wow!! What an amazing accomplishment!
  • Don’t be discouraged! You can do this!!! As others have said stop the negative self talk and tell yourself that you will do this!! I weigh more now than I did after I had my twins!!!! I gained 30 lbs in a year (and was about 20lbs overweight before that) and have yo-yo dieted for 5 years. My biggest lost was a year and a…
  • You look awesome!! Great job!

  • I have succeeded in losing weight many times - but then failed at keeping it off. This time I am determined to lose it and keep it off. I realized that I HAVE to track to lose the weight because when I’m not tracking I eat all the things that I wouldn’t let myself eat when I was tracking. My downfall is when I stop…
  • Great job! It doesn’t matter how long it took to get the weight off because it’s off!! In 2014 I weighed 180 - when I started losing weight in August I started at 188. So while you were slowly losing weight for 5 years I was gaining. So be proud of yourself. And the fact that you had a baby too, that’s awesome!
  • I am doing the ChaLEAN Extreme video series and I’m really enjoying it. It’s a 90 day weight program where you do three weight days a week, each day of the week a different workout. At the end of 30 days you start a new disk with new workouts. She also has a cardio and abs workout as part of the program but I skip those…
  • Great job! You look awesome in that dress!

  • In the New Rules of Lifting for Women book the author states in regards to number of weightlifting workouts per week: three is best, two will work, one is too few, and any more than three is too much. That's one of the reasons that weight lifting is attractive to me - I love the idea that I don't have to feel guilty for…
  • Love this idea!! I go out to eat every Sunday with my family after church and even though I know I could make better choices I usually go for a nice juicy burger with fries or pizza or something equally as unhealthy. I did WW with success in the past and I think the reason is the extra flex points they gave. I would save…
  • He doesn't know what he is talking about. His opinions are just that - opinions. They are not based in medical or scientific fact. In fact his statements are idiotic - look at all the success stories on here where people have been extremely overweight for years and lost it! If you don't mind be confrontational the next…
  • Another one that I used to eat all the time was Nutella on a coco pop. Coco pops are round, light, and crunchy and very low calories. Wegmans used to make them in the store. Unfortunately I moved and haven't seen them in the grocery stores here. :(
  • I really love a banana cut up with a little Hershey syrup drizzled on it and a couple of dollops of light whipped cream. It's sweet, I'm actually getting to eat something (vs sucking on amource of hard candy) and it's not totally unhealthy.
  • Read the "lifting made me Supah bulky thread" - reading that always gets me excited about lifting! That being said - I haven't lifted since before Christmas. I did first two phases of New Rules for women and then Christmas and I started working again and lifting was pushed to the side. Just re-read the thread above to try…
  • Amazing!!! You look terrific! I have been doing this for about 8 months and have only lost 10 lbs. Your post is very inspiring to me and makes me realize that if I got really serious about this I could lose the weight too. Thanks for inspiring me!
  • You Look amazing! Great job! (And I thought you were much younger than 40!)
