  • Perfect. Thank you. Thought i was really doing something wrong
  • So youll see it says 100g of prepared product = 75 calories. The noodles when i weigh them dry are 69g, so if i boil them and they then weigh 300g, why would adding simply water mean the calories go up so much.
  • Hi, yeah shoot me some friend requests 😁 look forward to getting going again.
  • Im genuinely sad not enough people are saying Destiny 😂😂😭😭😭
  • See thats what i keep questionning. The girl beside me has just had a massive salad, far bigger than any i would have made for myself for lunch and then sliced up 3 chicken drumsticks to put on top of it. Ive just asked her how she gets to eat such a massive portion and her reply was 'its all free food on slimming world'…
  • Definitely not trying to do it as easily as possible thank you very much. But when im buying for example a box of rice and it states that theres 150g inside each of the little baggies inside the box i took that as gospel. Having had it explained that they may not be correct i will look further into weighing them to make…
  • Thanks snowflake. Yeah i could never understand the slimming world mentality as they seem to be able to eat pretty much anything ot s much of anything like bacon and eggs for breakfast (things that i would tend to have avoided) yet for them this is all free food. Only thing i notice is that none of the SW people i know…
  • Thanks. Only taken it off temporarily to update it withall the details of the meal plan so i can get it back on track. Im in the gym 3 nights a week and also do a cardio class 1 night a week so i am trying to stay active. Its just trying to figure out what changed so drastically from pre injury when i was loosing approx 2…
  • I know. I thought i had already put in so much to my original post i didnt want to over load it. I stopped logging at the start of May because i was given a meal plan by the doctor and it took me over and above my calorie intake for the day and was told not to worry about keeping an accurate track and he was trying to up…
  • Thank you for replying. Would never have considered being referred to a dietician... seeing the doc again next tuesday so will ask him then. I had blood tests a month or so ago and supposedly it was a full blood work up which came back with no abnormalities. Even my cholesterol is 3.2 which he claimed was perfect and…
  • Thank you. Very much appreciate your comments. Im finding it quite difficult because i have spoken to a few people who would be "professionals" in their fields and they all have varying opinions.
  • January was the last time. The app is telling me that in order to loose the 30kgs that i want to get rid of i should be eating 1990 calories or less. Im consistently under this. If i was loosing weight i would be looking to change the calorie goal as I went along but with seeing zero movement in the scales i cant change…
  • Thanks guys. Have an appointment with the doctor tomorrow for something else but will question him and see if he can clear anything up. I was doing well for about a year and a half. Lost 28kgs, went over on my ankle, ended up not being able to exercise for 4 months tho i maintained my healthy eating. Put on 6kgs and have…
  • Thanks guys :) never thought about pool classes, only ever thought about regular hours. Will definitely be looking into those.
  • A scone is like a sweetened, less doughy version of the biscuits you dip into gravy.
  • See thats the thing, i would never have even thought about the peel being a part of the overall weight which is what makes me so glad of people giving me all these little tips etc. Today is day 12 of daily log ins. As for the meetings, they should be over soon so i dont have to worry about missing them again. Lol I totally…
  • No dont have a food scale, the banana for example is 5 in a pack and over all weight when divided by 5 was 225g which the barcode reader on the app matched with an entry in the vast brain of the app as being 135cals Not crash dieting, my job involves me being in meetings come the new year for planning purposes which go on…
  • Ok so my diary should now be open ( if ive done it right)
  • According to this app my daily calorie in take should be 2030, im usually well below this once i put in my exercise for the day, but whether the apps calories burnt amount is close to being correct i dont know. Like i do zumba every week, and according to this app an hour of zumba burns 994 calories..?! I know it can be…
  • Thanks for all your responses guys and ladies (hard to tell from the user names lol) i feel more dedicated this time round and will get to where i wanna be by hook or by crook... i am cataloguing my food and i am at the gym more. Just a matter of getting the balance totally perfect.
  • You're doing such a fantastic job! :) i know theres nothing physically impeding me from doing what needs done and i know im not technically alone in the respect that there are tons of other people out there that really need to push themselves to get half as far as some other losers but i do find it easy to become…
  • Im sticking around this time too. Im 27 and have about double that to loose so im definitely here for support if you need me.
  • The first time i went i was extremely nervous, now i am alot more comfortable doing it by myself. Still not 100% sure what im doing as regards getting results in specific areas but feel that im still in that "learn how to use the machinery properly". I've just bought a guide from LDMN (or close to that) which seems very…
  • Since i started using this app properly i have been logging all my meals and all the time spent in the gym. I dont 100% trust how accurate the calories burnt section is on the exercise section but i log it just to keep a track and make sure that im always improving. As for logging food, i am doing that and according to the…
  • I love the biggest loser, thats what motivated me to start (that an embarassing rollercoaster incident in busch gardens when the operator came and in front of everyone on the ride very loudly asked me to move to the 'fat person' seat as he called it) Im looking into all the things you've mentioned, ive made a list of them…
  • Id consider my diet quite well balanced. Breakfast is porridge/oatmeal & tea - both with skimmed milk Lunch is a salad or a jacket potato or whats left from dinner the night before And dinner is always home made, but varies from night to night - always fresh ingredients though. No fizzy drinks, no sugar in tea/coffee or…
  • Yeah since starting the gym ive incorporated the weight machines. I know my fitness levels are increasing because i can run for longer periods on the treadmill without having to stop and i alternate legs and arms with the weights on each visit to the gym. I think its the food aspect thats the worst for me. My diet i think…
