  • What a dollface!
  • It's kind of like tattoos: those with tattoos don't think anything of those who don't. Whatever gets you the body you want, go for it.
  • I know this is a few years old, but it's the first post i saw when i opened this thread...and i have to agree. When i was smaller, my eyes were huge, and i miss that.
  • I thought i was literally the only one who has done this. "Oops, forgot something that isn't essential to my workout, but we'll say it is, can't workout now" and leave.
  • I can count five people I know, automatically, who would take "feeling comfortable" as "showing off my naked kitten", and once they've received all the attention they require, dropping out. But, your point is valid.
  • No judging, but I'm doing a ton of cringe laughing right now
  • All of this. The "simple and short" routines tend to be hardcore exercises. I've seen people try mountain climbers and not be able to unless they were in good shape. I'm in horrendous shape, and I start again tomorrow with the low-impact machines at the gym, and some walking. Just assure yourself that the more you do, the…
  • You need to move the tracker in a specific motion for it to register a step. I tried every other movement to test it, nothing but the impact of my foot hitting the ground did anything. The heartrate monitor, I'm not too sure of the accuracy. I'm getting a Fitbit soon myself. Guess I'll find out :-)

  • As someone who will be in this age group very soon (I can't write the number...or even say it...it's an issue), seeing these pics helps me realize that people over 39 can still be hot. I mean, i knew this, but years ago, the idea was that you couldnt be hot in your 30's (and i wasnt, for the majority of them)
  • Making it to the gym 7 days in a row. I'm not weighing myself, just measurements. If i can get my butt and waist back into the forties before xmas, i'll be very happy.
  • If you have a kim k butt, be prepared for people to try to at least smack it. It's been happening to me ever since i developed it at 18. Do i mind? No. I mind when the grabbing happens. Unless you know me and i like you, you'll lose a hand. As for the kidnapping/assault...ive never heard of that happening just because…
  • I had one. Mine was fixed to a slight incline. I got rid of it before getting my gym membership. I was too frustrated with lack of control. As for being kid-friendly, mine never went near it...sorry!
  • Exactly. HE has to get it under wraps. Ive seen so many women basically cover themselves head to toe and avoid "making him jealous" in order to "calm the jealousy beast". Then, later, they say the man is too controlling to deal with. And vice versa. I won't deal with jealousy, and he knows it. I have been nothing but…
  • No reason for divorce lol but...jealousy or insecurity can take its toll. Come out and talk to him about this. It won't get better unless you do. Tell him he should be happy that you're happier with yourself, and looking better. At the end of the day, a person has to be happy with themselves, no one can do it for them.
  • When i was in a healthy BMI range, I had a much easier time. Once I gained weight, I was regarded as "not as good" as I was thinner. Had one friend tell my bf, "she'd be a 9 if she were thinner." I'm losing the weight now because I'm tired of feeling like my body is breaking down, not because I want to please those who…
  • No, i am fat. I've spent 6 years assuring myself that im not, but it's true, and i need to lose it. My self-esteem is good, i dont put myself down, but the extra weight isnt doing me any favors, and neither is assuring myself that "fat isnt bad for me". And "fat" doesnt mean "ugly".
  • This will be my third consecutive workout, 100th try. It seems to be a mental thing-getting your mind into it is the hardest part.
  • I go to an all-women's gym. You walk in, all you see are perfect, and I do mean perfect, bodies. I'm 225lbs, I felt like crawling under a machine. But, I put it in my mind that the only way I'm going to get my own perfect body is to work out.
  • A $15 molded-cup danskin compression bra from Walmart. I'm 38d, so those cute little ones ain't doing it. My girls need to be weighed down. However, the molded cups do make them look good when I look down. And this bra makes sure they don't move an inch on the treadmill.
  • I'm only on my second consecutive day at the gym, but I felt great after. I'm the heaviest I've ever been, and my muscles are going on me. Can't walk far, my gut is in the way,my breathing isnt any great shakes, either. When I lost 65lbs 7 years ago, the sense of accomplishment was more so than the weightloss. I could kick…
  • It works because it trains your tummy to accept less matter. I'm on it, and I find the days when I stick to it to be far more successful than the days I skip.
  • 90lbs here...giving it one last go before my September wedding.
  • I made a bowl of mac and cheese, ate a few bites, and my pre-schooler wanted the rest. Thanks for the help hahaha
  • She could be saying that the "I'm 5'2, 180 and im as skinny as my big-bones frame gets" is a myth.
  • Thanks for your responses...sounds corny, but having a place where people actually support your goals does help.
  • The funniest part is, it mostly comes from those who posted nonstop when they were doing it. Im over the wtf though.
  • I think what bugs is when the people you've been supportive to wont support you back...oh well. Sounds like your friend got jealous.
  • It's that extra motivator, i've need to lose 50 for a while (no, the profile pic is 6 years old, taken during my lasr weight-loss) I've stopped posting anything about it on fb, along with getting rid of a few too-snarky people. I get that it's a sensitive topic, but these people were getting snarky over everything i was…
