  • I may go 500cal over maybe more but not much more, not exceeding 1000cal for sure. It's hard to tell. I am working a mine, food is made here for us. I eat healthy all week long by eating Breakfast 4 boiled eggs 2 plain greek yogurt 2% 150-200g of pineapple depending on what I get served And then 4 boiled skinless boneless…
  • Sorry, I had made a typo its 40g of fat. Not much of a difference but I figured I would throw it out there. Yeah, maybe I do need a break, but this is me recovering from the gyms being closed because of the pandemic, I ate to maintain then and I did workout but not like I am now, I was up at 205lb, I would say getting to…
  • Maintain the same macros. Training days and rest days. If bulking you'll need the macros for energy while training and on rest days you'll require the macros for your body to recover. I go through bulking and cutting cycles and I never change my macros up on a day to day basis. Hope this helps
  • @BrownSugar147 hahaha, no one has ever told me that to be honest. But thank you
  • I think what you are actually looking for is an easier way. I was 240lb, I got down to 179lb. I now weigh 190lb by choice. The only way I did it was weighing all my food and counting macros, I never wanted to be that obsessive but I had to be if I wanted to reach my goals. It can often seem selfish to others and…
  • I got as many positive comments as I did the negative. A lot of people said " you look great " and other positive comments of that nature. The negative one I hated the most was "Are you sick?" As if I had some disease. People would even ask my family while I wasnt around. I dont know how people see losing weight and then…
  • MelG7777 never be ashamed of what was before, you should pin your before picture to yourself like a badge of honor. That's how I see it. A testament to your blood, sweat and tears that transformed you, into what you are today. Keep up the good work, 70lb is an inspiration to us all.
  • MelG7777 I am sorry, that is exactly what I ment, you reposted her pics. @NatalieBkk great job, looks like two different people in your post. MelG7777 best of luck to you in achieving your goals, I am sure you are doing great. I was reluctant to post any of my pics, but I never noticed the huge contrast until I stood the…
  • MelG7777 that's impressive, like two different people in you before and after photos. You should be proud
  • Maybe. The meat is not of low quality. Its chicken, beef, pork, fish, etc... All I am asking is what is the difference between doing carnivore on a factory farm meat compared to the non GMO grass finished meats. If I am going to try this diet I want to know if I can do it without the high end meats. And if not then is it…
  • I dont diet anymore, it's a life style and Ibhave no problem spending time and putting thought into what I eat. If I didnt this thread wouldnt exist. The food that is in this work camp I am going to is like a cafeteria style place. It's a place that serves volume and thus quality is sacrificed in preparation to feed…
  • Thinner, Leaner, Stronger by Micheal Mathews and his podcast muscle for life will answer all questions
  • That's exactly what carnivore is. Meat and animal products only. Would have to supplement with multi vitamins to keep micro nutrient levels normal, but this is important part of any diet, especially while training. And thanks for the warning in the first week or two haha.
  • To add to psuLemons response, get your macro ration figures out too if you want to make lean gains. But 100% progressive overloads focusing on compound exercise. Look up muscle for life fitness podcast. Has a podcast on every question you can think of I garentee it. And the podcaster has a book. I read it, it has…
  • I dont think it's a fad, and I think you may have found a video of some who isnt all there. There must be merit to the diet. I found a very informative article on onnit. Worth a read. Look I have a specific reason to which I am looking into it. My profession takes me away from home a lot, sometimes to other communities for…
  • Thanks cmriveraide I'll take a look at those threads. Girlwithcurls2. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I know what I am doing is working, just exploring diets, that's all, for no other purpose but to satisfy my curiosity about the diet. I am not 100% sold on it yet and not even sure that I will try it once I…
