  • Thank you all so much, I’ve had a really good day today with food choices and moving more. I’m feeling much more optimistic and forgiving about my “week off” and just carrying on with the journey. I did a food shop earlier and I’ve brought some new meals into the mix as I was eating very samey meals before. More more…
  • Thank you, and thanks for such a thoughtful reply- much appreciated. You and the other two posters contribute so much to this community. You’ve hit the nail on the head with the overthinking comment. I just need to do it instead of making excuses for myself and the poor choices I made (self-sabotage really).
  • Thank you both, really sound advice and straight to what I needed to hear! I’ve bagged up all the binge trigger type foods and given them to a neighbour to do whatever with. I’ve also tried to mentally draw a line under what’s happened this week, I know I feel good when I make good choices so it’s time to get back into it…
  • Thanks for sharing that, I think that’s maybe where I’m going wrong. The extra calories earned from maintenance I find I’m spending on more chocolate and sweet stuff, which is making me want more of it. Yet when I was spending it on more meat, cheese, eggs I felt satiated.
  • I can already relate to breast sag! TMI but since breastfeeding I swear one boob is a stone heavier than the other 😂
  • Yay I think I’ve learned how to reply on here 😂 I do usually prelog a dessert, a 230 calorie big bar of white chocolate! I think that’s what kept me on the diet, not banning treats. When I was daft and cut my calories too low I’d been skipping the treat and feeling deprived. Upped my calories today though and had a treat,…
  • Thanks again all, already feeling better today ❤️
  • You’re all brilliant, thanks a lot ❤️ Enjoying the calorie spends! Gonna go up to 1600 for a few days and then look at 1800 x
  • Thanks for this ☺️ Reflecting a bit and I think a lot of the diet fatigue feelings have largely come from yesterday’s cut in calories! I think in future I’m going to eat more (a couple hundred) calories if needed and if I have a slight splurge going over I’ll just chalk it up to experience and move on.
  • I’d followed SlimmingWorld before calorie counting. I much prefer the flexibility of this and it feels like something I can realistically stick to.
  • Forgot to add! As for breastfeeding, I wasn’t sure I had to account for extra calories for this as baby is also eating solids now and I didn’t know if my body needed the extra calories because I’m large. Again sorry I sound so dim, I’m genuinely not clued up in this area I tend to learn from these sorts of forums. I had…
  • I’m getting to grips with actually writing on here so apologies I don’t know how to reply individually yet 😂 I lost the weight quite quickly initially, I was literally stuffing my face constantly prior to starting on all the wrong types of foods, so I think a lot of the initial loss was probably water weight! The Scooby…
  • Also my diary won’t be insightful as I use Fitbit food diary since treating myself around a month ago.
