  • Same thing is happening on my app. If you get a solution please let me know. I also have issues reading comments friends have left on their newsfeed. It's like the formatting is out and I can't read the bottom line of text. This in on an android phone.
  • Well done and Happy Birthday. Still on the way back down here but will get back there 💪
  • Yup you Sir are a success well done 💪

  • Checked out the videos thanks for sharing. Not sure I will be able to do a frog push up anytime soon! I know what you mean about cheat days turning into weeks. I had a cheat year with the pandemic. Calories went from 2100 a day to 4000 lol. Now I have to pay that price and am back at 2200 now. 40th birthday cakes don't…
  • How many years have you lifted? I had a similar goal a few years ago. I got there but with the gym shut for over a year I blew it and now have about 30lbs to lose (for the fourth time!!!!)
  • Great result. Happy birthday when it comes. What height are you out of curiosity
  • What is your height/weight? Good work
  • Get a trend app, happyscale for iOS or libra for android. Enter weight every day and follow your weight trend. If your not gaining 0.5lbs per week then up the calories. If your struggling to eat more then it's ok to drink more calories.
  • I would say most natural 5'10 guys at sub 10% body fat are going to be 155-175lbs. You will get there just takes time.
  • You can also drink calories which helps if you cant physically manage to eat more food. Get a blender mix 300ml milk, 30g oats, one banana, 30g whey, spoonful peanut butter, a drop of honey to sweeten it up, easy way to get 5-700 calories per drink. Have a couple per day as well as the food you normally eat and you will be…
  • Curious as to what your height and weight measurements are? If 2200/2300 is around maintenance what do you take in when cutting? Looking nice and lean, do you know your current bf%
  • You can set your own calorie goals on mfp. You would be better following the tdee method and setting your calorie goal and macro split. Use a tdee calculator or better still your own calorie intake and weight loss/gain figures to set your calorie intake then alter it depending if your bulking or cutting.
  • Good on you. Sounds like you know exactly what you need to do and your gonna go get it! Time passes quite quickly. Small losses add up. Using a trend app is helpful so that the scale doesn't trick you. Its happyscale for iOS or libra for android.
  • 5'10 male, 41 years young, gym 6 days week, lifting on 4, slow solid state cardio on the others. Generally walk dog around 10 miles per day. Current weight 169lbs. Current body fat around 12%. Cutting calories on average 2300, I never really go below 2000.
  • What weight and height are you? I'd be tempted to go either with a recomp or with a small surplus and do a slow bulk.
  • Congratulations my friend but you should be in the success section as that's clearly what you have achieved.
  • You dont need to do hectic workouts. You don't need to exercise at all to lose weight just stay in a calorie deficit from your tdee. If you want to start an exercise program that's good, do something that you like. More chance of sticking to it that way. If walking they distances is new to you then its likely that will be…
  • Having re read my post I want to rephrase. Basically if walking is not strenuous or pushing you physically then really no reason to take a rest day. If however you find it difficult or strenuous then there is no harm in taking a rest. As Gerald points out were not in a race, it's better to be active on days when you feel…
  • I dont think you need a rest day from walking. I go to the gym 6 days a week but also walk 10 miles which I think is 16km on average per day. Granted my walking is spread over the day/night (walking the dog) but its low intensity, heart rate barely makes it to my fat burn zone but it's great for burning additional calories.
  • Well done on the weight loss. I agree with the others that your doctor is in the wrong. It's likely he's a little heavy himself. Other thought is perhaps he was concerned with your calorie intake or speed of weight loss. Maybe he thought you were too fixated on low calories? I know we are all different with different goals…
  • As well as the excellent advice already mentioned in this thread I think you could also benefit from logging your weight in a trending app. For iOS happy scale is free. For android its libra. You need to watch the trend for weight loss rather than daily (normal) fluctuations. Weight can go up and down for all sorts of…
  • Outstanding life changing achievement. Well done
  • Stunning well done
  • @steveko89 veins & gains there Steve
  • @sardelsa Congrats 🍾
  • 160lbs I’m coming to get you 💪
  • You will probably find excercise will help you. It will certainly make you feel better about yourself. As others have said generally people are concentrating on themselves but why not put some headphones on, that way you don’t need to interact with people if you don’t feel upto it. You can do this 💪
  • Ok my cut was going well. Started this cut Jan 1st. I had one week off a couple of weeks ago as I was away on holiday. I’m lower than I have been in both weight and bodyfat but I’m struggling. For the second week in a row I’ve ruined my week by binging a bit at the weekend. I know this isn’t the end of the world but I need…
  • Maybe I’m wrong but I always thought skinny fat was people who were light on weight for their height but had a high body fat. 12% is not a high body fat. Fats affects hormones. Try and keep them at minimum 0.35g per lb of body weight. This figure more applies to being on a cut. While bulking it can be higher if you wish.…
