  • @Raynn1 I completed about an 11week reset, then slowly lowered to a 10% cut for 6 weeks
  • @heybales I’ve been thinking on this all day and was wondering if I am indeed at TDEE. Would you suggest I go with the original plan and add the roughly 200 calories this week (up to my old projected TDEE) Or take it as I was still in a reset for the past 6 weeks and do a 10% cut from my new lower TDEE?
  • Feel free to check out my diary. I do tend to eat the same things, just maybe mismatch them when I can. I'm working on finding new breakfast ideas that I'm happier with. I still like eggs, but it's time to change it up some!
  • That's awesome, @AMV91 I'll check that out. Thanks!
  • Ok, thanks. I was kind of thinking the same thing. With yogurt I just keep the whey mixed in usually but with cottage cheese there is a lot of leftover whey.
  • @kcmsmith0405 maybe the 15% is too much to start with? If it's a gradual climb up, maybe use a more gradual climb down. At a 5 or 10% cut.
  • The first time I tried a reset I went from 1200-1400 calories a day to 2700 a day with no problems. Other than I felt like I could've ate more! This time I'm struggling but back then I was a regular binger, where this time I had been eating smaller lighter meals for a few years and no binging anymore. Believe me, I had…
  • @haybales I've noticed several NSV that I didn't have before. My brain feels more awake. I didn't even realize I felt foggy until just a few short days into upping calories and noticed a difference. I don't feel as exhausted so I do think I've been putting more into my workouts. My pulled muscles have healed after months…
  • Thanks @kcmsmith0405 that helps! Once I wrote this out then did my workout, I realized it really only has been 4 weeks, and I just upped my calories again one week ago. The weight gain is only really noticeable because I had put on weight before I started the reset, otherwise I probably wouldn't be growing out of my…
  • @cinblog1965 obviously the texture isnt the same as regular pasta, a tad on the gummy side. But textures don't bother me and I just added a little olive oil to the finished pasta and that helped. I don't mind it but I'm not very picky at all so depending on where you land on the texture and new foods spectrum...just keep…
  • I bought some lentil pasta today. One 2 oz serving is 14g of protein. I've had lentil and chickpea pasta before in the past but guess I never paid much attention to the protein content. So that should give meals a good boost and a change of pace anyway.
  • I was comming here just to ask this question! Especially plant based protein options. I'm a meat eater, but even I have my limits and can only eat to much meat at one time. I can't have any artificial sweeteners, including stevia so it really limits me. I will consume agave, but try to keep that to only once a week or…
  • I came across EM2WL several years ago. I jumped right in and was so excited to get to eat more! I had been a binger for as long as I can remember so I had no trouble adding a good 1200 calories or more to my day. I exercised a lot but worked on a more reasonable amount (such as only once a day and not 1 1/2 hr sessions)…
  • I love Graze. If you use my code JENNYD5FP your first and 5th box are free. I've been getting the boxes for about two years and I can't bring myself to cancel!
  • Oh, gotcha. Yeah I'm trying to find a More accurate BMR and TDEE their than just using online calculators. I tend to gain weight when I use those but if I go by MFP I don't lose just maintain.
  • Yes. My activities change often and I need something better than a guess or counting my steps. At least wear it while I figure a good average than maybe just wear it during workouts.
  • When I make oats on the stove top just as I take it off the burner I'll whip in an egg white or the whole egg. Just keep whipping for a good minute. Also that's good info on the slow release and why it doesn't keep me full very long. I wake up starving so I make a small quick bowl of 1/4 cup oats, 1/2 T of chia, frozen…
  • I've always had big muscular thighs and big calves. Many many times I wish I had those slim lanky legs. But no matter how small I've been, my legs would never be used in a Nair commercial. But I have always worn shorts. You have nice legs and they are not as big as you think. Those look like my shorts I wore yesterday…
  • I drink one glass at night. 5 oz is about 125 calories. I see that The Republic of Tea has a new "tea" that's not made with tea leaves but grape skins and other fruits then you brew it like you would tea for a sangria-like taste. I haven't tried it yet because at the time I put in my tea order it wasn't available but I…

  • I try to decide if they may have a point. Sometimes a rude comment may just be a truth I just don't want to hear. It also depends who it's comming from. I've heard rude comments made and never let it get to me because usually it was just some miserable person unhappy with themselves and wanted to take it out on me. Plus…
  • I like to think I'm a person who doesn't care what others think.....but I probably care more than I'd like to admit. I feel this way at times, too. I care about what I think about me more. I think it's ridiculous for me to not do something because some person I don't even know may think a mean thing. And if they were to…
  • Thanks Jennbecca33 and Heybales. Gives me more of an idea to work with. I played around with numbers on the calculator and really it was a matter of a few hundred calories either way so I picked in the middle. I'm feeling a little more confident with this as a starting point to work with.
  • My lifting includes weights and body weight exercises such as push ups, squats, lunges, burbees, etc. about 8 different exercises in each routine. My run/walk varies. It ends up being about 3 1/2 miles. I'm just getting back into running and each week I walk less run more. I run for a length then walk just until I almost…
  • I'm 37 Female 5'8 I was around 168-170 a few weeks ago, I used 170 for the calculator. I have not weighed myself yet since but I can't imagine I haven't gained any scale weight if I've gained this much size. I know....for an accurate calorie goal I need to weigh again. I did the reset for 10 weeks....maybe 12 I can't…
