  • welcome and congrats on your wedding! i also pretty much cut soda, and now i drink cabonated mineral water. i do get jealous of my hubs dr pepper, but he plays 3 hours of basketball a day!
  • i avoid the those tables like the plague! there's this one baker who comes to the market, everything was baked fresh that morning. danishes, pumpkin bread, baguettes, focacia with goodies... lucky for me he's over in the non-organic section, so most of the time i can resist! but i do treat myself to the vegan pumpkin bread…
  • i'm in central cali, so i know i'm spoiled. when you live in the 'salad bowl' of the world, you get good stuff! fresh artichokes and strawberries are probably the things i love most!
  • sorry, i'm keeping the hummus guy! find your own  i would love organic chicken. right now we just of the ranchers selling pork and beef.
  • i've dabbled in yoga a little, and have some favorite poses. if i've been dancing a lot, i'll do a small series of poses before bed and it really helps me unwind. i'm not into the spiritual side either, but i do find a benefit in actively calming and clearing the mind. yay for yoga!
  • for me that answer would probably be stress. then boredom. i eat for the comfort of eating... and then i usually crave the bad stuff.

  • i would do minestrone soup and salad, but that's what i usually get lol! i am boring! here's some nutritional info to help you decide: http://www.thedailyplate.com/nutrition-calories/food/olive-garden soup, salad, and one breadstick would be about 550 calories. yummy!

  • hi lynne, i understand your frustration:flowerforyou: i think you said its best "i just want to be healthy" i don't deny myself the foods i love, i just pay attention to the portions that i eat. i also log everything i eat, even if its just a couple of chips. i've found that logging all of my food makes me want to eat less…

  • your friends work cheap! well, bud light is the champagne of beers (or is it coors...). i have a weekend off too, at least no gigs or shows. so, that just means i really have to practice and drill for competitions. maybe i'll actually get some sewing done. my hubby went to see watchmen without me! he called in sick to work…
  • did sbs's routine, and i'll just say that i hate planks... especially after doing a bunch of push ups! i love windsheild wipers! i don't know what its supposed to do, but i really felt it in my lower abs. i'm totally using these to help students find their lower abs! thanks:flowerforyou:
  • a big hello to you and your coworkers!:flowerforyou:

  • welcome lorri!:flowerforyou: i would suggest finding exercise that you like! after years of failing at regular exercise, i found bellydance. if you can find something you really enjoy doing, you're more likely to do it! em
  • i hope you get to have a relaxing weekend banks! also i know some people back in the old country who could 'take care' of your boss...
  • bumping:flowerforyou: i might try sbs's last routine tonight with the hubby!
