Vessi sneakers. They are supposed to be full waterproof for all my adventures. Haven’t tested yet, but they are super lightweight and comfy

No, you should not force yourself to eat and feel worse. And actually, that could cause you to eat less. Try to eat something at least 3 times a day. Agree with going bland, whatever you can stomach but don’t make yourself uncomfortable.

Pretty much daily but I don’t often log unless I’ve dropped weight, or if I feel I’ve been slacking and have a new (higher) set point. I feel excited to weigh myself. If you don’t feel excited you’re not doing it right!

How does that work out for you?

Getting back on topic though, one thing that is acceptable but should not be: smoking. How dare you pollute the air I breathe and walk through? When you share something, the default is to keep it clean.

Feel like we're getting off topic here.. but it was always hard to switch the tires on my old car (summer and winter for those wondering). I would loosen up the lug nuts a bit, then drive for a bit (residential) while wiggly the wheel all crazy. That loosens'em up.

All good comments. The only addition I have is to let your hunger guide you. Agree, 200 calories over isn't a biggy, and at 1/3, 600-800 calories isn't a colossal meal dining out. However, also let your hunger guide you. If you find you are full, pack the rest. Or leave it. Over-eating is just as wasteful as leaving it on…

I would like to flip this back on you and ask, did you consider yourself as loveable then? Would you have considered your now potential suitors as being potential then? Not always, but usually sometimes, we are messing with our own mind.

First of all... what kind of place has only a kettle, and not even a microwave? Agree about using thermos's. You could also do savoury quick oat meals? I mean it's not easy... I would be really rattled if I had to heat all my food with water!!!!!

oh no! Hope it's up from here, and you have things to keep you busy!

I feel I just commented on a similar thread but... hello from Toronto!

Lol I feel attacked. But this is why I avoid buffets.... because I need to overeat there.

Hey there. I have really similar (or identical) past experience, except that now I can happily say that I have not experienced a severe binge (which I gauge more by the stress that comes with it, than food intake) for quite some time. I would love to connect with you and chat about what I learned and the mistakes I made…

I would only say that coffee can take the edge off when I am really committed to reducing food intake, but echo that it is not a magic cure for lack of will power. You deserve credit for your changes. I understand how frustrating it can be to listen to friends who insist that 'other' factors are in your favour but not…

Helloooo. Be my friend! Sometimes I post things and no one comments :)

Howdy'do from downtown Toronto!

It looks to me like they are trying to complicate things to trick you into believing they have a secret formula that you can't do without them... it's theatrics. The best things a trainer can do are help you to be accountable, and push you to try harder.

Also.... maybe a soup or broth if that's your thing? Or you can make chia pudding pretty low-cal: 2 tbsp chia, about 1 cup nut milk, and whatever flavour you like (vanilla and cinnamon for me) I also usually add maybe 50grams of fruit in, for my breakfast.

If you need a sweet treat, I enjoy (Sunrise) almond dessert tofu as a little pick me up... pre-portioned 100 calories and costs less than $1 per serving. If I'm at home I make my own kale chips: lots of kale, 1 tsp olive oil, sometimes 1 tbsp tahini, nutritional yeast, slight bit of salt. Cook low and slow. You can make a…

Salad quite often for us. With dinner. Same plate, I believe. When I eat salad with my Italian family and they have a separate bowl and eat it after... so werid to me lol. However, my mom's salads were disgusting to me as a kid... big shunks of mushrooms, onions, other raw and offensive things in the eyes of a child.…

I didn't think my gallbladder pain was localized... it felt like it was all in the upper part of my stomach and back... until a doctor pushed on my gallbladder and I realized.. THAT is the spot. Instant tears. Long story short, I had it removed and life resumed, so if anyone has to get theirs out, don't believe all the…

I think you're in luck, because you're much more aware and in control of what you're eating when you are making your foods and logging them. MFP is sure to help you plan ahead and avoid those foods that don't sit well with you.

You want to weigh more at the end of Feb?

It sounded to me like that's what she is already doing and it's causing overeating. My advise is to plan healthy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and maybe 1 snack of like 100 calories, which is what I do! I used to skip breakfast, eat a big lunch, then I was ready to eat dinner and snack all night. Now I eat my breakfast (small,…

That's a different argument from your initial one. Perhaps eating pizza may cause you to eat more, but if you do successfully stay within your calorie deficit, you will lose weight. To your original point, yes, eating pizza may cause your weight to increase vs days you don't, but as long as you are in a deficit, the…

I feel that this is why it's so important not to compare, not to anyone else and not to past versions of yourself either. And why they say to get rid of clothes that don't fit you. You should be clothing the body you have, not trying to find the body for your clothes. Just be the best you possible now.

I love this thread :'(
