  • That's true ! I can either come out of this twice as big or fittest and healthiest that I can be and I don't want to get any bigger.
  • There are some supermarkets here but I don't think it would work as both my kid and I have asthma and I had paperwork getting sorted but it's all come to a halt so I am stuck where I am. I got 2 years left of my degree so I am still keeping busy with that and yoga is amazing, I fell in love with it after doing Yoga with…
  • I'm the same,I have been overeating massively and eating my emotions. But enough is enough I'm going to log all my meals ahead, plan for extra treat on the weekend and try to stop eating after 8 pm as that's when I tend to overeat and instead do some reading, colouring anything to keep myself busy.
  • 20 minutes on the stationery bike, long walk in the fields (plenty of social distancing ) and Yoga with Adriene. I miss swimming but this won't last forever.
  • That's really good advice, thank you.I will plan meals in advance and I guess having some sort of schedule will help me feel more in control as it seems all over the place and it's easy to start binging. I used to work from home but had to close my business recently so that's been hitting me hard too and it's very limited…
  • Hi add me I need more friends to motivate me 😊
  • I'm going for a daily walk but this is a lot less then my usual activity. I can't run anymore due to injury so I have been regularly swimming instead. I don't have a garden so that's my only time outdoors at the moment.
  • No because they won't discuss two unrelated things in that measly half an hour I get.Everyone is assuming injury straight away and as I said I wasn't looking for medical advice just see if anyone else had this when starting cycling. If it doesn't get better I will see GP. Thank you.
  • Thank you. I can't afford private treatments at the moment I had to stop osteopath treatments for my neck issues recently. I will see how I get on and if it persists see a GP. It took me nearly a year to get TOS diagnosed and to be refered so really hope it's nothing serious .
  • I have no pain today ,it was just popping again when I tried it for 5 minutes from a different position.
  • Thank you I will. I moved to the floor today and thought to try it just for 5 min to check really slow ,on 1 and left knee popping again😕 Ill rest it over the weekend really hope it stops.
  • Im not looking for medical advice and thank you for suggestions but if I go to my GP and say my knee was popping with no swelling or pain Im gonna get laughed at. I waited months for physio for my neck issue and I only get 30 min monthly and that's regularly flaring up and Im on painkillers for it atm so to be refered for…
  • I do. I ve been on painkillers for last 4 years for it as it was debilitating and still get flare ups. I ve done FODMAP diet eliminated dairy, onion, broccoli ,fizzy drinks so called HEALTHY food ! All bran cereal anything whole grain I am in absolute agony. White bread/rice absolutely fine. Can't have too much fruit and…
  • Not sure what to do about that as I just used regular chair and it's meant to be used like that. I don't have a bike seat it's small under desk bike to be used while sitting at the table on standard chair. I could of possibly overstretched my legs under the table so will try it next time just on the floor and try to get my…
  • That's how I am suppose to use it though I wanted to buy recumbent bike and this was closest to it that I could get its bigger then similar products and with good resistance but it's really marketed as something to use at work ,under the desk. I will try just moving it out my desk is pretty low so perhaps I was…
  • Thank you, throbbing pain is not localized they are just throbbing everywhere. I was sitting in a chair typing on laptop maybe next time Ill try to positon myself differently. Probably good idea to start slower ,I just miss working out as I used too so have probably overdone it.
  • I was just looking at that thanks for the suggestion ! My neck is all messed up and pain is radiating to my forearms and hands and apparently it ll take long time to heal ,didn't get much info so Im trying to learn more about it.
  • Wont let me edit but I am being refered to physio and seeing Osteopath again in January for another 2 sessions, wait for physio could be 2 months.
  • I have Bipolar II and have been going through a really rough patch lately. When I'm unwell I can barely force myself to get out of bed and even walk around a block is a success so I tell myself that. I found that swimming and yoga relaxes me and hiking, when I feel up for it just fills my heart and I feel better away from…
  • Wow loads of replies thanks everyone 😁
  • I have pretty much decided to pack resistance bands and do Strong curves which I swapped to from Stonglifts recently, not feeling quite confident in running somewhere completely unknown yet although it is tempting. This won't take me too long to do and I'll still feel I'm doing something good for myself.I do plan on…
  • Thanks everyone after having a good think and talking to my partner I decided to cut my hours to 5 pm . My job is a bit different and without going into details my decision can cost me a good client and half my earnings but something has got to give . I was close to tears last night again because Im jist feeling so…
  • Im doing all this so I can provide more for her O have no family in UK and Im raising her by myself . Yes it would be in addition ,side job if there's enough interest . You make good points though I know .
  • Thanks everyone ,yep that's my Bipolar trait I want to be a superhero and get pissed when I burn myself out and crash ...which does happen I have been told by MH nurse to cut down on my hours and not take on much but I chose to ignore it because ,well I ve always worked hard and not giving a 100 percent makes me feel like…
  • Can I ask how many workouts a week do you manage ? I used to run couple of times a week,do weights 2x a week and yoga almost daily .
  • I know its all about calorie deficit that's literally the first thing I said lol .I was saying that I ve been struggling to exercise as much as I used to ,my goals are to get fitter ,lose my weight easier with bigger deficit( who doesn't want to be able to eat more ) and just generally feel good .
  • Nope, it's unusually hot in the UK at the moment they call it "heatwave " I call it summer and I am still hungry as always. Nothing puts me off my food unless I'm ill .I'm even drinking around 3l of water if not even more and no change in my appetite ,nada .
  • Me !! I started doing Yoga with Adrienne and absolutely love it I try and do it everyday,I have only been doing it for few months and at home only (cant make it to studio with work hours I'm doing ). My favourite poses are Downward dog,Child pose not to keen on pigeon pose but that's due to lack of flexibility only . It…
