  • Thanks guys. I really appreciate the pom poms x
  • Hi everyone, I'm still here and like to read the posts every few days. I'm struggling mentally and I'm trying to keep going with the losing weight. I'm still losing but only getting a new low of 2lb in the last 4 weeks. Not great when I've got so much to lose - I have the potential to lose 2lb a week and was doing this as…
  • Fantastic pics  The difference is amazing and definitely an inspiration x
  • A few weeks ago my hubby dared me to have an old Cat day - one where I ate whatever I wanted like I did before 11th April 2019 to see what my calories used to be. I started with cereal & toast with jam. I weighed but I didn't restrict myself and there definitely wasn't any portion caution. So a few hours later I had a…
  • This is the most powerful sentence I've read all week.
  • Hey, take it for what it was. A lovely lunch with your grandmother than a dinner out with your husband. And taco's. It's not something you'll do each day, and might not even each week. Try and be a bit easier on yourself. You have to find a way to live with your new way of eating either now whilst you're losing and/or for…
  • Yes michne16, I'm hoping it'll get easier as I lose more lbs. But I also think no matter what size I am, I'll focus on bits that aren't flat or if they wiggle. It's mad cos when I look at other people I don't think that. Hopefully, losing lots of lbs means finding lots of confidence
  • I don't know how to wear clothes  I'm in about 4 different sizes, some things can be too small and too big at the same time!! I've spent so long covering my expanding width that I don't know what to do with my new curves and my fat brain doesn't always know it something's too tight or that's how it supposed to be.
  • I love reading these. Well done Losers  x
  • Oh I couldn't cope without the mini goals. I've completed a few this week and it's a huge morale booster. Confirmation that we got this!
  • Welcome to everyone! This gaff is so comfy. No judging, lots of cheerleading and great advice. And the best part? Everyone understands
  • @conniewilkins56 @kosseychick yeah it's not something I'm looking forward to
  • Yes, I know there's a skinny girl in me and she is a nice person  It's going from too long chilling on the sofa with chips & dips to what time does the gym close. Ideally, I'd like him to be with me but I can't expect it.
  • I have no idea what to suggest for the bloating & mood swings as I'm still trying to figure mine out. I wanted to recommend something similar to the flex disc (I had to google that) I've been using a Moon Cup for about 15 years. I originally wanted something that wasn't bleached as that's definitely an area that does not…
  • I've never have and would never admit to this to anyone IRL. It'd start a feminist war amongst my friends who'd declare a man to never be the reason to do/not to do something :smirk: I'm scared of my husband not wanting to be with me when I get to a normal weight. There's no rational reason for it, we've been together 22…
  • ...and that why is exactly the reason this time you're/we're/everyone is winning. Not asking why is allowing the self destruction to take over. When I'm having tough days I think back to some days 7 months ago when I wouldn't even have noticed I was over eating, never mind be aware of it and then wanting to address it.…
  • I love reading these, fantastic guys x
  • Tomato stuffed egg/tuna salad sounds amazing - deffo on my list for this week. Thanks @conniewilkins56
  • haha @conniewilkins56 I have the exact same scales My goal for this weekend is to start decorating the living room now that the walls & ceiling plaster is dry. Nothing strenuous for me - purely a supervisory role
  • @jjlewey You didn't fail mate, you went on holiday  Sounds like you had a wonderful time and you're right you wouldn't have felt right if you'd been tracking at the table. Imagine saying no to all those fruit drinks and now wishing you'd said yes but there's nothing you can do about it. You've done it the right way…
  • Nice to see you back @NovusDies Last week I was 237, I've been cycling 3lb & after 7 days I'm up 1lb. I've had a busy work week and had to work 6am-5.30pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday  and I've tried to stay on top as much as I could. I've done well but there was room for improvement.
  • Day 1 for me. All logged and correct 😃. I said no to a few baddies so a good day all round.
  • No, I haven't consciously tried with the signals but they do stop me snacking in boredom or when someone else is. I ask myself if I'm really hungry and I answer no = no snack :) Once I'm eating I'll generally finish what I can; I need a fullness alarm. Do you feel the energy & lightness could also be from a peaceful mind?…
  • Fantastic, well done :)

  • I've just googled 'restaurant calorie chart' and found this: https://www.nutritionix.com/brands/restaurant There's thousands of restaurants and food brands there so hopefully you'll find what you need. If you're serious about tracking calories, take a set of mini scales and ask for another plate so you can weigh (not my…
  • This is the dream  I truly wish that I can do this in the future. My life isn't as regimental as my post seems but I can't allow myself to get complacent or I'll order Justeat 3 times a week. We have take out occassionally but my problem is being lazy and it's so much easier having meals ready in less time it takes…
  • My most dangerous thinking weight wise is to wing it. I can't ever see that as a viable option ever again. I plan all food shopping to fit in with my meal plans and batch cooking, which has already been planned with activities & appointments in mind. My day is planned so I can fit in the exercise & meditation I want to do.…
  • I hope everything's gone to plan for you and you'll be on your feet again soon x
